Canopy by Hilton Memphis Downtown Beale Street

Rooms were dirty and smelly. Staff didn't bother to address our need to bave two rooms next to each other especially that my son is being treated at st. Jude.

Didn't have frig or microwave in room. Maybe because the restaurant was downstairs but most hotels have too

There was no microwave in the room, my food cooler was not working, this property has no pool area to cool off from the Memphis heat

For a 4 star place it wasnt ok and i have pics that the place wasn't great

stayed 5 nights. Never got a bottle of water and when asked at front desk how to buy water was told they did not have any water or any small store selling water. When checking out I noticed bags with 2 containers of water and when I asked, was offered one. "It just came in yesterday". Restaurant was super slow and did not have orange juice at breakfast. No one seemed to care much. The outlet in the desk unit came out of the desk when I unplugged my charger. Scary. Great location though.

I was blown away by the Customer Service! Natasha is Excellent at Front Desk! Eager to accommodate us with kindness and graciousness! The ambiance is SO COOL! Rooms impeccable!! Best Ice Machines !!!!

Two night stay in Memphis. Good location opposite The Peabody & close to Beale Street. Comfortable bed, good wi-fi. Friendly staff.

Right across street from Peabody and AutoZone Park. Walk to restaurants and shopping.

Everything about the Canopy was amazing. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in to date. The dinner staff, bar staff, and front desk staff, Valet attendant that we interacted with were all amazing. When in Memphis will definitely be staying at the Canopy.

The highlight of our stay was the Valet “Billy” he was very personable, professional and considerate. Billy, clearly is an asset to the hotel staff! We had to change rooms during our stay and my wife forgot her prescription medication in the room and after informing the front desk she was informed they would check with housekeeping. They never informed us and I spoke with the employee at the desk and she would check with them again and said she had my number and would call me. No call from them and when I inquired in person I was told they didn’t find it. I’m quite certain housekeeping found the prescription and never turned it in. My wife went without her medicine for four days because of them. Because of this I would never return nor recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff did not have the common decency to contact me.

Nice clean hotel closed to everything downtown

A nice hotel but check in was delayed by more than 1 1/2 hours after arrival promised check in. Also, staff was unable to provide coffee for rooms - told because of supplier delays. Hotel is only a few blocks from Beale St. - which was both good and bad. An easy walk to Beale, but we were hounded by homeless on way back to hotel. No problem during day but as it got dark, became sketchy.
