My family stayed here for two nights as we explored Mackinaw City. The hotel is older but the room was very clean and comfortable. The AC was ice cold during a heat wave! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. There was a nice grassy area in the back and views of the water and ferries to the island. Breakfast was coffee and muffins.

Location was perfect unfortunately a group of under age kids started to play ding- dong- ditch at 11pm at night. It was nasty! A lot of us had to complain that the children where left alone at the hotel while parents went out to party ..

Great location, the room was vary spacious. Bed extra comfy. Got to have my own balcony. Had a great selection of cable channels. The room was clean. No bugs!!! Pet friendly! Awesome customer service! Great location on the beach.

We had a view of the Lake and Mackinac Bridge. We were within walking distance of everything. The beds weren't too bad, you got plenty of pillows, and if you needed anything more you could get it. The staff was very friendly and very willing to help you.

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Blankets are thin, requested extra and none given. There is a broken window, the security lock on the door is broken, the mattresses are old, and extremely uncomfortable, the air conditioner doesn’t not work, only the fan. There is very poor lighting, no light attached to a light switch. The tv takes 5 mins to come on, there is no microwave in the room. The pool annd the hot tub anppear dirty, I would not go in. And the free breakfast is coffee and a prepackaged muffin. I am not hard to please, but this has been the worst!! This place needs to be shut down permanently .

Staff (lobby, clearning) were helpful and nice. Had ample soap, conditioner, shampoo in room. Nice large fridge (no freezer). AC worked great when on but would kick off and room would warm up, then AC kicked back on. While many other hotels in this area have beach access, this hotel looks out at a ferry parking lot. Can access beach by walking next door. Continental breakfast is packaged muffins and coffee. Pool slightly run-down and dirty. However, we could leave our vehicle there and walk to Arnold Ferry line (saving on the $10 and up parking fee).

There was black mold in tha air conditioning unit. The wallpaper is peeling off in several places. Several of the plugs didn't work. The bed was squeaky. Waited a long time to check in, they never game us our casino vouchers. There were no lids for the coffee cups. It was misleading water view, you could see the water, however there was no beach access.

Its was awful. It was a total waste of money and i wish i had slept in my truck. We booked a room for 5 guests and my son had to sleep on the dirty hardwood floor because they only provided 2 queens and no pull out bed. The room wash dirty and falling apart. Even the lamp shades and door locks were broken. If you walked across the room with wet shoes on the floor started foaming from soap scum but would still turn your feet black from walking on it. There was black mold on the wall paper in the shower. The plumbing was not secured to the wall so when you turned the shower on it pipe would pull out. The manager was so rude to the customers that the police were called by another guest. The pool was dirty and over chlorinated so it smelled like chlorinated cow manure. Our tv looked like it had been thrown against the wall and was bent. Only half the wall was painted and the ceiling has a major crack across it. There were ants like crazy. The breakfast they offered was just muffins for 1 hour, the beach was across a parking lot. It ruined our vacation. I even took pictures of it because we are still in shock. It was like staying in the hotel from my name is earl.

Location to Lake Huron was a short walk. It was a pleasant surprise being in close proximity to ferry.
The price seemed fair.
I would definitely return and stay .
