DoubleTree by Hilton Buffalo-Amherst

Staff was pleasant. Upon arrival the hotel didn't have hot water. They let us check in with no hot and it was already known that the hot water was in the process of being fixed. Also, we had called after making the reservation requesting a handicap room with a tub or a fold down chair, which they said the had. The hotel only has two handicap rooms unacceptable, especially when it is located near a college campus. I believe some kind of compensation should be given for the inconvenience. Thanking you in advance.

Staff was very professional, room was clean and all services were spot on. We were greeted very professional at check-in and all the staff we encountered said thank you for the stay.

Th pool was great and location was awesome close to the falls with out all the crowds lots of restaurant close by

Would have been excellent but not only did we not get new towels they folded the wet ones and put on the shelf. I can honestly say I have never experienced this. No questions or problems when I asked for new ones. Though this was very strange 🤔

So the front desk first of all, I guess they have it hidden somewhere that you get charged $75 a night just in case something happens to the room so you will end up paying over 150 dollars in incidentals . It’s better than the other two hotels that are on top of each other and they share one parking lot so there’s not enough parking for all three places .there was a foul smell by the pool area . you could hear a pin drop in the next room so that was a problem trying to sleep. The bathroom was clean, but it’s a stall shower and a toilet so you can hardly get out of the shower because the toilet is right on top of it. It’s a weird design because then they have the sink outside ,so is it worth all that money not really is it decent to stay a night maybe two I guess

The front desk clerk that greeted us was the same one that greeted us back in may. She remembered us immediately made us feel very welcome!

Was brought out and took away the jacuzzi. My daughter got locked in the bathroom door knob was broken staff came and used a screwdriver to get her out and did not fix the problem just left
