The bathroom was gross and had mold on the ceiling

My room was so quiet it was like I was the only one on the floor. Felt very safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel. My only issue was the construction in the area made it confusing to get in the parking garage. Don’t trust your GPS for that part.

The receptionist was rude, blankets were wet and our room had mildew/mold

The bed slept nice. I didn't like the television because the station kept going blank internet was poor. This place need upgrades.

Lousy, old property, paper thin walls, and our safe wasn’t working. I made 4 calls in 2 days to get our safe opened. I finally had to go to the front desk and demand to talk to a manager, and then they fixed the safe in 10 minutes. Area around the hotel is not pretty, run down, not very safe.

Hotel was clean Bartender was fun and friendly. Guy cleaning Elevators was friendly and knowledgeable

The hotel was not clean. The bathroom offered no actual ventilation control and the fire alarm actually went off. There was heavy rust around the toilet and the wash clothes and bedding sheets were stained. The internet was terrible as well and the "smart" tv kept losing channel signal, so you couldn't watch anything without frequent disconnections. We asked for a do not disturb sign and were told multiple times that none were available, only to have one appear on our last nights stay. None of the house keeping spoke English, so you couldn't really communicate about simple things. Bottom line, I will never stay here again.

It was an easy checkin experience and the room is good for just a 1-3 night stay. Shower water was nice and hot.

The location was convenient but the room was dated and the shower flooded the whole bathroom floor.

Generally clean, but rooms and common areas sorely in need of an update. Rooms are very dark and not well-lit. Staff were excellent, but just slapping the name Doubletree on an aging property that is not up to brand standard is frankly cynical and disappointing. Would choose a different property in Wilmington in the future.

Parking garage needs some work, not an appealing entrances to the hotel!

Most hotels are offering some type of breakfast...not this Double Tree. Access to the hotel is difficult due to construction. I was stunned to see that we had to pay for parking. The lot is run by the city and Double Tree doesn't seem to have some type of agreement for its guests to park for free. The sleeping area of our suite was fine, beds were comfortable. However the bathroom floor was dirty. The door jams and light plates were filthy. The wall in the corner of the shower was soaked, dripping, and peeling. When we arrived on the floor the hallway looked like there had been a part. All sorts of trash. It was still there when we left the next day.

I love the location. Will definitely stay again.

Where do I begin.. Reception couldn’t locate our name/ reservation and instead of asking for confirmation number to help us out. Automatically began telling us we have no room for us and that they don’t have any rooms available and that we needed to call Expedia. After my wife offered them the confirmation #, they located our reservation. Our room was dirty, with very bad odor and the bed was broken with a huge dent on the left side, very difficult to sleep. We stayed two night, both nights from 1am to 3am, other customers were yelling, cursing and some even threatening violence with the others. No respect for other paying customers who were just trying to rest. Breakfast NOT included..Lastly it was unfortunate to see a homeless person inside the parking lot garage laying near the ticket pay booth. Overall terrible stay.. was not expecting a five star for the price but at least an odorless room with a bit of silence at 3am for us to sleep.

The halls smelled. The bar closed early. They cleaned the room and took the dirty towels, but they did not replace them.

Visited the property and the Air Condition didnt work and Inwas told I couldn't be moved to another room. Only solution was to receive a fan in the room. Not a happy customer will not book with DoubleTree properties again.

The staff was very accommodating. Thru helped me make the weekend very special.
