Fairfield Inn & Suites Dulles Airport Chantilly

Loved everything about this hotel. The beds were super comfortable with nice sheets. The TV was really big which was nice.

The hotel is located in a great area, close to restaurants and the airport in Washington DC. The breakfast was excellent, room was clean and fragrant, no complaints about this hotel. Price was amazing. Would stay here again!

We booked here because they said there was an airport shuttle. We got here and they told us there is no longer a shuttle on weekends. We would have booked somewhere else had we known.

This property was one of the more expensive properties in the area by at least $50 a night on Expedia. The condition of the hotel in the rooms was very dated and worn. The staff was incredibly nice. I ended up having to stay an extra night on business and stayed at a different hotel that was much much nicer and $50 a night cheaper.

Breakfase great, motel workers and management very hepful

It was a great stay. Everything went well without the hitch. When I checked in online, I was informed that my room was ready even in the morning! As I had a business to take care of, I was straight to the hotel afterwards. Again, the shuttle service was prompt, smooth, and I got a key without any paperwork to fill, amazing. Room was spacious, clean, quiet, and firm bed gave me a good night sleep. In the following morning, even in a holiday, I had a enjoyable continental breakfast with plenty of variety to choose from. Finally, the shuttle driver dropped me off at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum for my appointment. Simply, everything went well as a well oiled machine. I am sure I shall return to the area soon. For this, I am not hesitate to choose Fairfield Inn next time. Again, thank you very much for the wonderful stay!

Property has seen its better days. Backed up pipes, hot water didn’t work on arrival, and just generally worn down.

Good location. Lots of food choices

We had a good stay. There was no room cleaning or service due to low staff during Thanksgivings but the staff was really courteous and attentive to our needs whenever we brought anything up.

Good stay for a layover

I don’t know why this doesn’t have high rating but this was a GREAT facility. We are legit already planning another stay in the region and booking there.

The staff was very nice and very friendly- no issues at all. The facility itself sorely needs updating and has some design flaws. There was only one very small driveway in and out from the side road to the hotel, and parking was very limited. Parking in front of the lobby entrance was made awkward by an unfortunately placed curb, essentially requiring a three point turn to back into one of those spaces. The room had no USB ports on any of the outlets- not one. I had to charge my phone by plugging in to the back of the TV. The only Ice machine in the e tire hotel was on the first floor and did not work. The breakfast area established for the food is extremely small, cramped, and with only 2-3 guests there, Made for traffic jams and bumping into each other constantly. For some reason, the shampoo and conditioner dispensers were located closest to the shower head (instead of the opposite wall) causing anyone taking a shower to repeatedly bump into those dispensers every time you turn around to rinse off. One thing that always bugs me (it’s an individual thing) was when you open the room door, still standing in the hallway you are staring at the toilet in the bathroom. The toilet also required holding the flush handle down for several seconds to get it to work. It just needs updating and more thought put into room design.

I'm REALLY hoping the planes at Dulles taking off, landing right over the top of the hotel slows down at bedtime or it'll be a long night. Otherwise this is a great place!

Nice place to stay for the weekend. Nothing special or fancy just a cool quiet place with walk able places around to eat and get gas etc. 7.5/10 B
