Got a great deal during summer months, above and beyond quality-wise. Excellent rooms and amenities. The BEST part was that I didn’t get chased out of my room by housekeepers 30 seconds after check out time. No harassing phone calls. I really appreciate that, I felt much more respected compared to nearly every other hotel I’ve stayed at. The staff that checked me in were not only friendly but also helpful and accommodating. I just booked another night solely because I HATE being harassed by housekeepers unless you are out at the exact check out time. This policy makes the hotel automatically a 5/5 in my book.

Nice clean property. Would maybe stay again in a different room with different management company. Cons — the check in location is a mile away from the actual property which was not clear to us. Our room had several burnt out light bulbs (bathroom and nightstand) and there were also outlets that did not work or were so loose they wouldn’t hold a cord. The most disappointing part was housekeeping showing up at 9:30 and opening the door, when we’re still in the property and check out time was 10. Found that to be pretty inappropriate.

Enjoyed my stay at Gateway. Although the exterior and hallways give an institutionalized vibe, my studio room was absolutely wonderful. It was very functional and relaxing place to stay after a hardday skiing. I would stay there again. I did have some issues with an extension cord that was used to plug up appliances in the kitchen area. Also found the kitchen area, especially at night was dark and needed more light. Overall, a great place to stay! A great place to stay with easy walking access to both the river gondola and Peru lift.

Great facility, walking distance from River Run. NO ski locker key. Several electrical outlets were not working and the outlets are very old, charging cubes wouldn’t stay in. Noisy family above us, rooms are not very sound proof.

Check in is about 1.4 miles offsite at the at a general Keystone Condominium check in office. Check in was super easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. There is a nice brewery, coffee shop, small grocery/liquor, and breakfast restaurant in a small strip mall attached to the condo. Location is right next to the ski resort. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything was good except one thing. I booked thru Expedia.com. When I was there at the office, that was in the same building, but they can’t find my booking. I called Expedia and they told me to go to different place to get my check-in package. I drove about a mile to totally different lodging office to picked up my package and come back. It was confusing.

Avoid this hotel!! We could not access the property upon arrival!! There was no front desk onsite, and the phone numbers provided to get a key did not work. They provided an offsite address which we drove to after showing up to the property and seeing there was no front desk. Once we arrived to the secondary address provided to get a key, nobody was working and we couldn’t get ahold of anyone to get a key. We had to book a hotel last minute so we didn’t have to sleep in the car. Should out to Andy from the Hyatt for being so helpful!! Expedia and the resort will not refund us. Apparently YOU have to call the hotel 48 hours ahead of time to make arrangements to get a key, and check in is only from 4-7. What a terrible business model!!!

The pullout sofa was the worst ever in unit 5004. My son had wires poking at him all night. Not much sleep. Heat was great. Coffee maker didn’t work in the morning. Maintenance was the only one open to answer the phone and they sent out a worker with a new coffee maker, thankfully!! Great location. There is NO game room which was advertised on Expedia, which was a big disappointment for my son and I. The hot tub was so crowded we never were able to use it for our one night stay. Won’t come back, unfortunately.

Nice and great location. Covered parking was awesome! Room was well appointed, but the TV away the size of a personal computer monitor. It would have been good to have info on the Keystone shuttles that apparently pickup (Orange Route) right in front of the lodge. We drove to the parking lots and then walked to the lifts. Also, more info on how to make use of the ski lockers would have been helpful vs. lugging skis and boots around. It was really nice to have a small grocer right downstairs, as well as a couple of restaurants. Overall, a learning experience, but I’d stay here again.
