Golden Gate Hotel and Casino

What I didn't like this time was the wifi didn't work so I couldn't plan the next couple of days. So it ruined everything. And I'm a senior citizen and I asked for a room as far away as Fremont street. Because it stays really really loud untell 2 am. But they gave me one close to it so I couldn't get to sleep untell after 2 pm. I normally say good things about any casino .even if it was ok. But not this time. It was a bad experience

From check in we have had great service! Very friendly staff, clean environment, our room was amazing!! We got the Jr suite it was stunning and right on Fremont Street! I had a great experience!!

It is the best value I have in a long time.

Easy check in and easiest parking on Fremont. Very walkable to other casinos. Good bed and good shower too.

I was on a solo Vegas trip - Golden Gate was perfect for me. Its convenient location adjacent to Circa was ideal for me because I wanted to visit the Sportsbook. I was able to check in early and asked for a room away from some of the noise of Fremont Street - the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. I plan on staying at Golden Gate the next time I visit Vegas.

Worst hotel ever, the room was shabby and smelled, no view, the carpet was brown and I had to take antihistaminic, the staff is not welcoming, no coffee facilities, the swimming pool was in another casino, there were extra fées, and they would t even call for a taxi.

Check in staff was extremely rude. Room was old and very outdated. Overall probably will not return due to the check in service. The girl was very rude and the charges were not explained at check in.

The room was noisy. The bathroom door did not open all the way due to hitting the toilet.

Couldn’t control the air in my room until I upgraded to a different room for a extra 80 per night

It's was a weird little room, but i liked it. The place has history. Actually pretty quiet for being on Fremont. I don’t drink, but if i did, that bathroom step would be treacherous.

I paid the upgrade to the family room in one of our theee rooms we had The only difference was from the regular rooms is there was three lamps instead of two lamps extremely tiny room about maybe 12‘ x 12‘ and when I asked for the difference of the room that I paid more for they questioned me and said they wanted to see what we booked on Expedia and I had to email the manager the invoice from Expedia then he comes back with this room that had literally three lamps instead of two not to mention it took over 30 minutes to check in if you’re a single person the room is maybe OK but if you have a couple no way stay here way too small rooms and the front desk staff manager was absolutely not helpful at all by questioning me for lying about me paying for an upgraded room and then they give us a room with three lamps. It’s ridiculous. If I didn’t have two other people stay in there I would’ve went somewhere else. I’m a platinum member on Expedia. I stay in a lot of rooms. This was by far the worst. I wish I could’ve got our money back.

Legendary hotel. Friendly staff, always ready to help. Convenient to so much downtown has to offer. Pool access at Circa!
