Gary and Karin were very welcoming. The room was clean, and the Bed & Breakfast was beautiful. Overall, it was very peaceful and quiet! We got to relax in the little gazebo and watch the fireflies at sunset. The resident feline, which I only ever saw outside, was also very friendly.

This B&B is in a beautiful historic building that were restored by the owners, Karen and Gary. They are very friendly. The breakfast was great. The location is perfect for anyone who wants to visit the Mammoth Cave National Park. Although there are trains going by a few times at night,.. no horns after 9pm and before 6am, so i was not bothered by the nightly trains. I highly recommend this place.

Very quirky accommodation with lots of rules & regulations….breakfast time was regimented & a little early for us, but we enjoyed sitting on the front veranda & watching the very long trains go by!

Owners Karin & Gary were warm and friendly. Karin is a wealth of information about the history of the house and the area. The room was quaint and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and generous. Others have complained about the train, but it passed only a couple of times during the day and not at all at night, and its passing was very quick. We found it part of the charm!

A unique experience living in an over one hundred year old hotel. The innkeeper, Diana was very nice and friendly. The history of the hotel was amazing. The room is clean and comfortable. It is convenient to get to Mammoth Cave National park, only 15 min. away. Be prepared for trains passing by occasionally.

We were visiting Mammoth Cave National Park and needed a place to stay nearby. This place is exactly what you would expect. The decor is all antiques and felt like an old time museum because it has so much to see. The hosts were kind and friendly and check in was very easy and hassle free. I definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in staying in a bed and breakfast near the national park.
