Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District

The property was clean and the staff friendly. Room was comfortable. Only issue was the air conditioner which seemed overly loud.

A good view, wonderful hotel , great area. Wanted a balcony room I got but the traffic noise, if you like to sleep in I would choose a room near the Main Street. Overall perfect area!

The hotel was fantastic except for the fact that our room was very, very dark. There were a few table and floor lamps but they didn't emit nearly enough light. And, our window was on the pool/hot tub level and looked directly onto that patio, so we couldn't leave the shades open. It was overcast, anyway, so there was minimal natural light.

Everything was perfect but the valet parking situation was a little overwhelming. The valet staff was great but they were over loaded and the wait to get your car was a little frustrating. Main thing is everyone was kind and the rooms were clean. I would stay again. Just wish they could sort out the parking it was extremely expensive and you still had to wait a long time.

Personnel was wonderful. What is that? The Oh yeah Seattle hotel needs updating.

My stay was terrible mainly because of key cards everywhere. I couldn't get in the outside door to reception without using card as receptionist ignored me knocking. The room was cold despite turning up thermostat. The main thing is the key card in the elevator as is a complete nuisance. It didn't work and i got stuck in the elevator until i pressed the alarm and door was opened. It's a fire risk and liability in my opinion and say don't stay there. After all that they ran out of coffee closed down breakfast had para medics running around in the kitchen (hope they were ok) and clueless staff. What made it worse i had just escorted my friend back to their hotel across the road and had no trouble walking in and using the elevator because no stupid key cards and i meant to book there before getting this room. For nearly $300 i wished i stayed home as live locally and only got the room to not drink and drive home.

The location cannot be beat. The AC in the room was very loud. The TV service was also intermittent in the room. Staff was helpful, but problems never resolved during stay. Convenient to everything. Hot tub was hot and comfortable. Be aware, valet parking is 45 a day which seems high, even for the area

I liked the location because we could walk to all the areas we wanted to go to very easily.
