Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington-Brandywine Valley

This hotel is head and shoulders above the others nearby. Staff was very competent and attentive. Room was recently renovated I think, and everything was clean and attractive. Breakfast was very good. My husband and I were quite pleased. Thank you.

This hotel is super clean and comfortable. Natasha was excellent from check in to check out. I booked this thru Hotels.com and had a handicap rm by mistake. Called Hotels.com who called Natasha and was able to move us to the 4th flr. I would recommend this hotel. It’s also in a quiet area, but lots to do and places to eat around it or within 15 minutes.

The rooms were perfect for our family trip to give us space but totally affordable!

We thought breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was great They were coating parking lot so a little inconvenient at first. Good size great location for the Brandywine valley

Enjoyable three day stay! The location was convenient and safe. It was always quiet. The staff was accommodating but reserved. The room was clean, spacious, and modern but it did smell like someone had been smoking in it. Overall, a pleasant experience

Hotel Review: A Mixed Experience My family and I stayed at this hotel over the weekend. Overall, the experience was mixed. While the hotel was very clean both inside and out, there are definitely areas that need attention and updating. The property itself feels a bit outdated, particularly noticeable in the guest rooms and pool area. The doors in the rooms did not close properly, which was a bit frustrating. The complimentary breakfast was average. The hot items could use improvement in both quality and variety — they fell short of what we expected. The most concerning issue was the outdoor pool. While we appreciated having pool access, it was in poor condition. The water appeared green and very shallow, and the pool area was noticeably rusty. There was a loose light fixture in the pool while children and adults were swimming, which raised serious safety concerns. It also seemed like the pool’s filtration system wasn’t functioning properly. The pool poles and handles were rusted, adding to the sense of neglect. This hotel has potential, especially given how clean the general areas were kept, but significant maintenance and safety updates — especially in the pool area — are urgently needed.

Tub drain was chlogged no assistance with luggage. Front desk no greeting,just show me you r I.D. And credit card and there’s a cart you can use, for $314 a night wasn’t worth it!!

My stay was wonderful and fun

Visiting because of a lax tournament. My sons had to go to bed at a decent hour. Half of the hotel windows face the pool . The pool is open till 10pm and was extremely noisy, people screaming and playing music. I called about possibly switching, staff was extremely rude about it and just said they are booked. I was staying for more than one night , asked to please call me to see if anything can be done the next day. Staff said they would but never heard anything .

Our stay was awesome, it was quiet, comfortable and the building is well kept. Breakfast had a nice variety of items also. And I love that their was complimentary tea, water and coffee 24 hrs a day.

Wonderful

We really appreciated the lovely decor of the lobby, complete with fresh flowers and a cozy fire. The breakfast was delicious and they even offered complementary food in the evening. The staff was very attentive and the beds and accommodations comfortable. We would definitely return.

Would stay here again. Nice place!!
