Inn at the Prom Oceanfront Seaside

Great little hidden jem!

Everything was great accept. Tv didnt work. And the fireplace had no option to turn off.

The room was not what was advertised. Too small for a family of 4

Having our own space as a small family made this experience amazing. We are super appreciative that we found this hotel!

Amazing location but the rest is so-so. We reserved a 1 bedroom suite. It was nice to have separated spaces but you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom so not practical. Unit was a cottage so it was on the first floor and our particular one was situated next to the outdoor fireplace and walkway where people strolled by to get to the beach so it was a little noisy and non-private. The unit itself was a little smelly and stuffy so we had to open the windows everyday to air it out. Walls required fresh paint. Microwave was in need of replacement and the faucet of the tub leaked badly. The cottage could be so much nicer with a little TLC.

Ocean front view and very easy access to promenade, beach, dining and shopping. Not very fond of the very tight parking situation though. Staff was very helpful and overall the property was very clean and refreshing.

The room smelled pretty strongly of bleach when we arrived...we had to open the slider to air it out. The double lock on the door was really flimsy and the fit of the door was terrible. If sleeping facing the door, you could see light on all four sides of the door. The location was great; the accomodations were cozy and other than that, it was perfect..

Terrible experience — do not recommend We reached out to this hotel four times before checking in and never got a response — that should have been our first red flag. When we arrived, the front desk staff was friendly, but unfortunately, that was the only positive part of our stay. Our room was in awful condition. The fridge didn’t work, the power kept cutting in and out, and only after checking in did we see another review mentioning bedbugs — incredibly unsettling. The worst part: we were supposed to stay for two nights, but when we returned after our first day out, the entire hotel had lost power, and there was no communication or plan in place for how guests were supposed to handle it. The front desk staff told us they were heading home for the day, leaving us completely stranded. We ended up having to leave that night and find another place to stay. No follow-up, no apology, and no refund — we’ve still heard nothing. Completely unprofessional and not worth the risk. I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

It was perfect, walk the prom to the beach, shopping, and dinning. All the things Seaside is famous gor.

The room was very clean. Parking was very tight, but they had several options available. Getting to the room was not terribly convenient and there was no luggage cart available. For my family of four with lots of luggage it took us three trips. The view from our Oceanside room was spectacular. The staff was all very nice and the room was extremely clean. I would definitely stay again, especially because it’s in such a active area of town so there’s a lot to do.

Close to the beach

We booked here for the teen granddaughters to be close to yhe beach. Nice place to stay but check in is across the street and up steps ... we could not park our full size pickup outside our cottage. Parking for full size vehicle meant walking around the corner to/from our truck. Normally not a problem walking but steps are a problem for me. A little heads up for anyone else having knee/hip issues.

Our room was right on the ocean. Short walk to town with numerous dining and shopping. Parking pass included for our stay. Seaside in general very crowded. Lots of kids and dogs.

The property was very clean with an excellent location.

The view is so worth it! The only question is I was told the policy is to have a decaf coffee in the room, but you have to ask for regular. We wonder why. The office is open 9-9.

Esteban was the best! We were sorta out of our element In Seaside, OR, being from PHX, AZ! He made us confortable, his travel tips were on point, crazy friendy and accommodating. Absolutely beautiful propery right on the beach! Awesome!
