InterContinental Hotels NEW YORK TIMES SQUARE, an IHG Hotel

This place is much better than advertised and definitely will come back again.

Amazing

Great place, staff is helpful and informative, breakfast was amazing with the package. Skyview was amazing as well and shower was beautiful.

The location of the hotel was nice. There were a lot of dining spots around and the transportation was easy. The hotel staff were nice and helpful and the cleanliness’s was nice too. The corner room view was also beautiful and the room was pretty big as well. My girlfriend and I had no complaints.

Staff is top notch. All around great people. Really a credit to the company to have such nice, warm, friendly staff.

Convenience is all about this hotel. Walkable to every need. We didn’t interact much with staff but they seem to be very friendly and helpful. One notable thing is their shower stall is big especially considering the room size is compact.

My stay was only 1 night so didn’t get to really see the surrounding properties. It was an excellent stay.

Close to theatre district!

We have been to NYC three times since October of 2024, and we have stayed at the Westin Times Square, the Hard Rock Hotel Times Square, and the Intercontinental this past weekend. I have never had staff treat guests as poorly as the staff at this hotel treated us. We arrived at the hotel on Friday 2/7, between the hours of 8am and 9am. The women working all the way to the right hand side of the front desk was extremely rude, the concierge that was working, a separate woman, was also horrible at her job and extremely dismissive. Additionally, we waited over ten minutes for a luggage attendant to take our luggage, and he was also very disgruntled and not friendly. The reason for this review is to let other travelers know the hotel was beautiful, clean and very well located. However, the horribly attitude the staff at this hotel seem to have, combined with the fact that there are two other gorgeous hotels around this corner from this property make it very easy to never return to the Intercontinental. The property management needs to train their staff on what "customer service" means, and what it means to provide someone with a customer experience worth returning for. The Intercontinental does not have staff willing to provide this presently.

Great location for the theaters!

This is not a 5 star hotel by any means. It is average and the price reflects that. The front desk are polite but you don’t feel “extra special”. The rooms are dusty and outdated. The walls are dirty and the carpet is due for a refresh. The hallways are worn. Likely won’t stay here again - not intercontinental standards I’m used to.
