Only stayed one night (room #2) but it was super cute. I liked the firepit, he dutch door, french press and the toaster oven for heating up left overs! It was too cold to swim but it looked nice. The location was fantastic too. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in JT and not camping.

Loved the vintage property! It feels like a 1950s vacation room, which it probably is. Dutch doors, pine paneling, cool little kitchen, and vintage furniture (except for the bed, which is Ikea-like).

What a cool place! Quirky decor, a super comfy bed and a perfect little kitchenette. I loved the remote controlled heater/AC and the fact that the location is very private and quiet. Because it is a small lodge and I was there in the off-season, there were only a few guests. There is no front desk and I really didn’t mind the self check-in with a lockbox. Caan texted me with instructions and also suggested a cool bar by an old movie set! I will definitely return to the Joshua Tree Ranch House again.

This was an adorable stable! Either was a stable at one point or modeled after one, complete with the half door. Basic accommodation but clean and comfortable. No washcloths provided with towels and no kitchen linens. No onsite check in—phone ahead for the lock box combination.

I lovvvved the property itself, but the night I stayed there were some very loud guests in a room nearby and the walls are thin....so hopefully your stay will be on a quiet night. The room was great and the staff was so so thoughtful and kind.

The property looks exactly as pictured. Overall, the room was pretty clean and the owner was nice. My reason for the meh review is that the walls are extremely thin, you can hear everything your neighbors are saying and doing...EVERYTHING! Make sure to pack noise canceling headphones. Sidebar: another guest had a German Shepard and didn’t keep it on a leash. I love dogs but knowing it wasn’t restrained at all made me uneasy. Same people didn’t clean up after their dog who chose to poop next to the parked cars where it could easily be stepped in especially at night.

We loved the little suites and the decor was perfect. Nice amenities and we appreciated the extra cot since we had a toddler with us. Our only complaint was the heat didn’t kick on properly for a few hours and it was very cold for bedtime, but eventually it warmed up. Nevertheless we will definitely return. Thanks for a fun stay!

The owner Caan was so great! He had the room heated up and ready for me before I arrived. Very unique, rustic, peaceful place, with coffee available in the kitchen, ice in the ice tray, and everything one would need plus a few extra comforts. Will definitely stay here again next year.

Stayed in room 3. Cute place. Pool looked spotless. Fun decor. French press no coffee so bring yours or walmart 1.5 miles. Toaster oven only. Kitchen had no drapes or curtain rod. No privacy because of that. Window was ground floor and 15 feet from street. Not OUT in desert at all. Shower had old wash cloth from prior on floor. BUT, shower was amazing. Im 6'7" shower was 6'6". Dont mine the stoop because water was really good. Place was clean other than that. Here is what they, and you must know. We did get sleep, but both woke up with pain in our backs that we felt was because of the mattress. Not good with a day of hiking in front of us. We would and probably go back again.
