Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia, an IHG Hotel

Very friendly staff, good location, nice atmosphere. Was my second time there and I’d go back.

From the moment we stepped out of our car and spoke with the valet attendant, our stay was lovely. Small things like having the door opened for you in friendly courtesy made us feel welcome. The woman who checked as in at the front desk was helpful & very kind and made sure we took advantage of everything during our short stay. The atmosphere was beautiful, every area clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was extremely clean and smelled like home. I loved how the shower used large shampoo,conditioner, and body washes instead if small disposable bottles, and all drinking glasses that were left were actual glass. It was a simple touch that was noticed. Breakfast was delicious! Thank you for being a safe, comfortable place to stay!

Akira and Molly were especially helpful, loved the pillows and popcorn! Room could have been cleaner!

Upon arriving and checking in, I was told I couldn’t you the credit card I had in hand. They made me use a debit card or else I wouldn’t be able to check in. When arriving in my room, the toilet was not clean and the rub had brown stains that I cleaned off. When I went to use the blow dryer. The back of it caught onto my hair and a chunk of my hair ripped off! Also, when leaving my room, before 2pm which was my VIP check out, I noticed I forgot my charger and tried getting back in but they had deactivated my room key! I had to go all the way downstairs to show my ID again and her a new card. When I told front desk she was very empathetic and went to speak to her manager. The manager did not come out! The manager told her to tell me that they were NOTHING they can do and if I wanted to fill out an incident report I can. I don’t believe I’ll be staying here again!

This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and it might always be my go to when I visit Philly! 2nd time was even better than the first! The staff is so friendly and helpful and the property is immaculately clean. Highly recommend!

Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant

The rooms are very dark and the furinture is dated. It doesnt feel comparable to other 4 star hotels I've stayed in. They also hosted a wedding while I was there so elevator lines were terrible for the guests. Staff is very nice and helfpul.

Would definitely stay here again

The Hotel Palomar is an excellent Kimpton hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, bigger than expected room and an outstanding location just a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square. Highly recommended.

The hotel is well located but our room was tiny We had pre paid breakfast and we specifically asked if breakfast reservations were needed on a Monday. We were told no. PS when we arrived for breakfast there was an hour wait. That wasn’t acceptable The hotel was clean and we were reimbursed for breakfast when we had to go elsewhere.
