La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Corpus Christi Southeast

Waited over 15 minutes for anyone to be at the front - absolutely no one around. Once checked in the room had a stench that we could not even consider figuring out what it was. Never again!

Good experience

The whole stay was wonderful

VERY CONVENIENT

Check-in took 15 minutes because there was nobody at the front desk. Just a sign that they would return shortly. Only one elevator was operating during our stay. Breakfast/coffee was not very good but was plentiful for the most part. Went to sleep to kids running up and down the halls and jumping onto the floor above us at midnight as we were on the 3rd floor. No water pressure in the bathroom sink OR shower.

Everyone was very nice

The stay was not the best. Got into our room with the sheets having stains on them. Was raining and the power spotted out causing the elevators to not work. They put my 89 year old grandma on the top floor and we had to wait 2 hours before one of the elevators worked to help her go down. Through the night people kept trying to open the door and Friday night they assigned someone else to our room at 1am while they were trying to get in. Had called the front and the lady told me she needed to put me on hold as she was helping a person in the front while I was telling her someone was trying to come in my room again and then when I went to open the door to tell the people they had the wrong room they apologized but stood outside the door for another 15 mins. The front lady called back around 1:15am letting us know we had been given the wrong room number the whole stay and then asked if we wanted to move down floors at that time knowing we were checking out only a few hours later. Great location as everything is so close and the smaller beach was only 15 mins away but would stay at another hotel in that area. They did not even apologize just blamed another working for messing up our stay.

It was a nice, clean place for a quick getaway.

The hotel is fairly new and in the vicinity of various restaurants. The restroom was not cleaned to a level of excellence, the bed was quite uncomfortable, and the service was lack luster. At 9:00 pm we called front desk to request bedding for the sofa bed and were told there was no one available to bring that to our room. We had a room that occupied 4 and were provided 2 towels. When we called front desk at 8:45 a.m. to request additional towels we were told there was no one avaliable to bring up them up to our room. I would not stay here again.

Rooms was very clean up to date

Would be five star all around but there was a loose tile that my wife and I keep tripping over as it was sticking up. Got there at 4 our room was ready but the hall way walk to the room was still full of towels on the floor.

This was a great stay. The room was clean did have a wierd stagnate smell. The hotel is a smoke free property. The breakfast was good as well. No long lines at all. Check in and check out was quick and painless.

The room had a musty, humid smell, and we thought it was coming from the AC unit. We informed the front desk supervisor, hoping to get another room, but she told us she couldn’t move us. Instead, she said she could cancel our reservation so we could find another hotel.
