Everything was great just a few upgrades needed as far as the elevator and also the cement outside of the hotel was a bit slippery due to rain other than that great stay thank you

This is a big upgrade from the last time I stayed here. It was many years ago. I travel often here for bowling tournaments and the first time I ever stayed, this hotel was not kept well. Smelled like smoke and pets. But looks like they are taking good care of the property and rooms now. I was pleased with my stay.

As a hospitality professional that has worked in a few Hotel brands. I associate the name La Quinta as a good brand and not really comparable to a Motel 8 Inn. The bathroom is terribly outdated from the 70’s no shower liner, ceiling had some leaks and the door doesn’t tightly closes with gaps that insects and light filters in the room. Definitely looks more like an Inn, Not worth the price per stay!!!!

Creepy people hanging outside the property. They were not staying at the hotel. One man would watch as cars pulled in and then follow them up to the door. He would stay smoking a cigarette by the front door. As someone traveling alone It made me really uneasy.
I went out later the next day and it happened again. This time I tried to wait for him to leave but as soon as I got out of my car he followed me into the building. Luckily I had my dog and asked the front desk for water for her. He eventually left and I had the front desk make sure he didn’t follow me. Noting that it happened twice makes me think these people stay outside the hotel and do this often.

First room had lipstick on the toilet seat, second room opened the door and the door dropped down because the upper hinge was shattered! The third room was finally ok. Them acted like all was okay and offered no compensation for anything.

It was only a one-night stay so the expectation was low. I just needed to get some sleep before I continued driving. Check-in was easy the room was ok. My problem is the AC made really strange and erratic noises when it came on throughout the night and my upstairs neighbor kept running back and forth heavily across the room for hours. The front desk did call them and it did seem to stop around 11:30pm, but the whole point was to get sleep which didn't really happen as I had to be up early in the morning to continue driving. Not entirely the fault of the establishment, but still a disappointment for an already low expectation.
