Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Culpeper

Check in was easy via link. Right now, apparently some repair going on, so there are large metal containers in the paring lot. Overall clean rooms and public areas Good free breakfast. Outdoor picnic area is being restored at present.

Food is not good at all. Rooms are not very clean. The Bible is the dresser is being eaten by a mouse.

Had room with 2 queen beds on 2nd floor. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a decent variety of choices. Was on back side of hotel closest to highway so there was a little bit of road noise, nothing too bad though.

Right off the highway, close to downtown Culpepper and amenities. Shopping, food and downtown restaurants. Staff is very friendly and the complimentary breakfast / 24 hr coffee bar is a plus.

Great time

It was very clean. I mentioned to staff that the lobby television can be heard in the room just behind it. I asked them to turn the volume down in the p.m. They did. Morning person turned it back on early though. It was a clean room, good bed and a bathroom. That's all I needed.

We will never stay in a Microtel again. Old rooms. No carpet in our room. We were there for our daughter's wedding and we brought our Yellow Lab with us. Our dog only has one back leg and could not walk on the bare floors. She slipped constantly and we had to put towels on the floors for her to be able to get from one point to the other in the room. Wires hanging out of the ceiling in the hallway and someone's child was running up and down the hallway at all hours. We inquired about getting a room with carpet and were told we might be able to move to another room but it was "hit or miss" to get one with carpet. Not good enough! We paid to have an enjoyable stay to enjoy our daughters wedding but left early because we were worried about our dog hurting herself. Never again!

Very clean and had a wonderful breakfast

The staff were friendly and welcoming, the breakfast exceeded expectations. But the facility is aging. The bathtub in my friend's room had been sloppily repainted and the bright white caulking looked dirty. My toilet had no lid. There were renovations being made on another floor. The entire building needs updating.

Pleasanr staff and clean hotel

Nice stay

The hotel was nice and my room was clean and cozy. The staff who greeting me at my check in was very friendly. She recommended some local restaurants. Parking spaces are tight in some areas. Other than that I was very happy with my stay.

Good value but our hallway smelled like weed when we arrived and our room smelled of smoke. The bathroom smoke smelled so bad we ran the fan for our entire stay. Staff was great and the place and room were clean otherwise.

This place is the best place to stay when in need of a room in Culpeper. Everyone is very family friendly, they make you feel right at home. The rooms are always fresh and clean, and they are pet friendly.
