Motel 6 Fond Du Lac, WI

The hotel was clean and up to date, friendly staff however there was no hot water. I let the faucet run for 10-15 minutes and it got lukewarm at best. Barely warm enough to take a very uncomfortable shower. Very disappointing because this was in Wisconsin in mid January.

I didn't like it dirty and poopy bathroom walls, completely dirty and smelly bathroom towels.

It was a pleasant stay. My only complaint was the sheets were soiled (coffee stains) before we even used the bed. We had to ask for clean sheets during our 10 day stay as well further into our stay. The staff was accommodating and friendly and our room was always clean.

It’s a motel six. If you’re expecting the ritz you’ll be disappointed. But at the price you pay it’s good. Noisy area, parking lot needs resurfacing, and outside doors don’t close but otherwise it’s tolerable if you don’t spend a bunch of time there.

Room was decent and clean. Nice nd friendly staff. Only downside was couple of druggies and hallway smelling like weed.

Air conditioner didn’t blow cold air. Immediately notified front desk. They told me it was working because it was blowing air (even though it wasn’t cold). Refused to adjust money off my stay. Definitely not worth the price.

When I checked in, the lobby was great and seemed very updated from the previous ways things were. With the EAA air venture going on in oshkosh, rooms everywhere were limited and cost $300+ everywhere else for just one night. So after seeing a recent review of the motel, I was hopeful things were better than previous reviews had been. However, upon entering the motel we were struck with the instant smell of stale cigarettes. Upon entering our room, at first glance it looks nice and obviously redone with nice laminate flooring and new bed/room furniture. However, the TV was basically unusable as we couldn't get it to change off the daily weather channel.. even with rebooting the cable box. And when we took the cover off the remote to check the batteries, the remote was full of nastiness in all the grooves - hence the remote cover. The walls were repainted, but the wall fixtures were still dated and gross looking. The towels were well used and no longer white. Even the shower curtain was dirty at the bottom. Definitely not worth the money I paid for one night

My husband and I have been to a lot of motel 6’s and most are good. But this motel 6 was beyond our expectations. They had just gone through an extensive renovation and as soon as you walk in. You are greeted by a super friendly front desk and a clean and improved lobby. The rooms are very modern and the brand new tubs were a great bonus. The very helpful desk showed us all the places to eat around the hotel. There was A LOT. We will definitely come back and we recommend other people to come too!

The shower assist rod fell out. There was no tissue in the room. The television control was falling apart. Floors were very dirty. Positive the beds linens were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Check in/out was no issue. Lobby is dated and feels unwelcoming. The area is a bit sketchy. The room looked like it was trying to look updated, but was not. Everything looked and felt unclean/dusty. The rooms could use major maintenance and deep cleaning. You get what you pay for.

My room was clean, which I think is most important above everything else.

It had a really bad smell- mildewy- smoky. The towels were stained and dingy, and the bathtub did not look clean. There was no pool, but they advertised there was. A few donuts and fruit for breakfast options. I had to buy air freshener to make it tolerable. Overall-- gross!

Room was filthy. Mold on walls. Towels stained and dingy. We bought our own cleaning supplies and towels from walmart and wiped down everything. Would have gone elsewhere but everyone booked up. Won't use them again.
