Motel 6 Fort Lauderdale, FL

Observation only the area seemed kind of sketchy. The rooms are in a corridor which I haven’t stayed in a hotel like that in awhile and never will again, I didn’t sleep a wink because of doors slamming, kid running down hall, people talking, sounded like they were in the room, the walls are so thin. The bed was not good and they give you one pillow the size of a throw pillow. On a good note the shower had amazing water pressure

I liked everything about the property the only thing that i would have to think would make it better would be if there was a elevator

I would not recommend this motel, especially for families. During my stay, there were a lot of people smoking weed, which made the environment uncomfortable. It definitely didn’t feel family-friendly, and there was constant movement and noise in the middle of the night. The carpets also smelled really bad, adding to the unpleasant experience. At times, I even felt unsafe walking alone in the hallways. Unfortunately, this was not the kind of experience I was expecting.

Cockroach in the bed. Carpets in corridors are in terrible condition. Room is updated and kind of clean but mattress and pillows are in a bad condition.

El hotel apesta horrible, desde el parqueo el hotel sucio, la atencion en el lobby pesima, en los pasillos del hotel no cuentan con aire acondicionado el olor es terrible, la alfombra de asco hasta caminar ahi, el precio que cobran no es economico por lo mismo deberían de dar un mejor servicio, cero recomendado pero ni para una noche

I stayed for 2 nights for a concert and I will give it a 8/10. The staff were very nice and the area was great. The room did smell like cigarettes and the hallways smelled like pee but overall it got the job done.

The room was fine, however the hallways smelled like dog!

It was in much higher condition than I was expecting. Check-in was effortless, and the surrounding area was safe.

Close to where I needed to be and the warm weather.

No elevator, no refrigerator in my room, reserved a room with a queen bed but didn't have it available.

There were a few “ sketchy” noisy guests

There were drug addicts wandering through the lobby clearly high in something while i was trying to check in. The lobby smelled like a public restroom that had not been cleaned well in a while. The whole hotel smelled like a dirty wet dog and thats coming from someone traveling with animals looking for pet friendly accommodations. It was disgusting. My room was not what i reserved and the guy at the front desk was a bit confrontational about it. Was just happy to get a refund. Went to the Flow Ft. Lauderdale. 1000 times nicer.

Cleanliness - All the hallway carpet is stained and dirty, dingy, discolored and disgusting. Rooms were surprisingly decent. I only saw one roach. Comfort- Beds were not comfortable and the pillows were flat, not soft nor fluffy just flat. I had to fold mine in half to try and make it better. Service - Young man at the check in (evening) was polite and attentive. The half bald Indian looking man was rude. I had booked parking while we were on our cruise and I called the hotel prior to booking. The hotel said it was fine to book the parking for another Super 8 but park at this Motel 6. When I asked about the parking the man up front was rude and told me to park someone else it is not for here. As a business owner, never have I ever spoke to one of my customer like that and probably never will. Every single hallway reeks of pot. I am not from Florida and I do not know the state laws or if it is even legal but that smell was very overwhelming and pungent. It was quite disgusting. If I come back to this area I will not book this hotel. Not sure how it has received such high reviews. Maybe if the clean up the halls, steam clean the carpets, get rid of the roaches and be more polite…. Then yes the reviews will be in line.

The bed sheets were clean but you could still see stains. The bed frame underneath was filthy. Kids running around knocking on doors, yes mine as well, then pulled the fire alarm. Wont stay again.
