Motel 6 Jeffersonville, In - Louisville

I still haven't received my $100 deposit from staying , even after speaking with customer services they insured me I would receive it with so many business days and I still haven't gotten it!

Great place to stay for the price and location. Clean. Easy checkin and out. Safe as a solo traveler.

I had been staying at this hotel for a month for a few days a week for work. It’s not located in the best neighborhood and there are many homeless people around but the price was good and it was fairly well kept. A hotel staff person cleaned the room and left the door ajar. A homeless man entered my room and used my stuff (showered, etc). He stole my Nike shirt, shorts and sandals. Him entering and exiting the room were on video which I viewed with management. A police report was done. The hotel wouldn’t replace my stolen goods or compensate for essentials like toothbrush. The offered free night which wouldn’t even the cost of my Nike attire. The least they could have done was reimbursed me for my stuff especially when they had the incident on video. Please do NOT stay here. It’s not worth the risk.

It was horrible.. they put us on the top floor next to a room that had two barking dogs all night and we didn’t arrive to the hotel till late so there was nothing we could do. It was horrible. The dogs kept waking us up all night.

Stair railing

Room smelled of smoke, suppose to be none smoking.! There was really bad mold in bathroom! Stain on sheets. Also the Coffee served at front was warm not hot.

Just wanted a cheap local hotel for the night should have paid the extra $10 for a red roof inn. Stayed here I was so exhausted I just wanted to sleep. First room the bed was covered in stains every layer of sheets had stains. Even the towels weren’t safe. The blinds broken and stained so I asked for another room. Blinds worked but the room was just a filthy. I found out over night that baby roaches were in the head board. The pictures on the site don’t even match what I got. Tried for a refund of course the location didn’t offer one and I knew they weren’t. Goes to show they are okay with the conditions of the rooms and don’t care about comfort. Just money, and plot twist the guest who stay there gave me all the horror stories so I feel bad for them. Wonderful people though. No one deserves to stay in a room like this I don’t care what the price is. Wants nice stay for a little bit more money red roof inn has never let me down.

Towels were stained, dirty, stiff and scratchy

Horrible. Bed bugs in the room. Asked to change rooms. Wasn’t any better. Refused to refund me.

Had planned to use the atm the description/site lists as available at the property for the 100 dollar deposit since using a card it takes several days at minimum to get it back and I’ve already paid enough for the room and the cash you get back upon check out. After I arrived they tell me the atm doesn’t work so my card had to be used. Then day of checkout well within a couple hours to the 11 o clock checkout time I went out for a cigarette and when I tried to comeback in the room to gather my things to begin checkout my card had already been deactivated and unprepared or properly ready had to walk all the way to the front to have it reactivated.

It was a good experience, except it was too close to the highway and airport. You could hear traffic and planes at all hours.

The sheets had blood on them and cigarette burns even though it said all rooms were non-smoking. Only two lights worked the one over the sink and mirror did not work. The shower did not work. The tub had no plug so we couldn’t even take a bath. They charged us $100 deposit which we have not received back yet. Luckily we had some of our own blankets with us because when we asked for clean sheets, they gave us one blanket for two queen size beds, and that blanket looked questionable

Too many homeless people

Gross, overcharged me. Key cards did not work. Had to have 4 key cards for 2 nights.

Uncomfortable mattress

I reserved 2 rooms and neither were clean. Dont let the puctures on their website deceive you. The bathroom was disgusting.

Do NOT recommend. The no smoking room reaked of smoke. There were cockroaches. The floor was slippery. The walls were damaged and the security lock was broken. The shower had mold in it. If it hadn't been so late and there were no other places with available rooms, we would have left.

Toilet was dirty. Towels were yellowed. One of the 4 pillows had a large yellow stain on the pillow case. VERY loud lower level, these people stayed up til midnight laughing and playing loud music 3/38/25. Door has to be slammed shut due to humidity so you’ll hear other guests doors closing at all times of the night and morning. Good place to stay if you have no other option.

Refrigerator was too small, small freezer froze up.
