Motel 6 Portland, TX

We liked the area of the hotel. Wished hotel had coffee available.

The staff is friendly. The rooms are decent. We love we can just fish around the property. Super close to a lot of places we visit.

Very clean and staff was very friendly

Great location. Room has had some upgrades but shower needs some improvement.

I check out friday and they showed that i checked out today. Prices vary from day to day.

Motel felt unsafe and it was dirty. Room was non smoking and reeked of smoke.

My 8 year old didnt agree with the light switches

I suspect the Clerk lied to me about not having a room on the ground floor. There were only 4 cars in the parking lot, and there are 16 rooms on this side of the building and I know they have to accommodate handicapped people.

Hotel was great for my family. Spacious rooms and beds. Being able to fish outside is a bonus.

Convenient

Property need to updated. Staff was nice. But once we went to our room there was mold in the restroom. As well has a hair hanging from the restroom door knob fully had mold growing on it.

I was satisfying.

We booked a kitchenette, as a family of 4 visiting family it should have been easy to make dinners and enjoy our time with family. However when we got our room we didnt have a cooking range. There was a sink a nice little counter an almost full size refrigerator but no way to cook.

This place was gross. First we checked the room and noticed the pillows had black specks like black mold. Asked for a refund because of the room. Was told no. Well we noticed multiple ROACHES. Around the room. Woke up to them crawling on us. I again spoke with the front desk to see what they can do about our horrible stay. They told us the manager was going to be there but then never existed. This place is gross. It’s old, moldy and bug infested would not recommend..

We asked for a down stairs room, were unable To accommodate, my mother had a difficult Time going upstairs, did not like there was Not elevators available….
