Motel 6 San Diego, CA - Hotel Circle - Mission Valley

They charged me like 60 dollars more for hold or something on top of what I had paid expedia.

The shower was extremely unclean with grease and mold in it .

The staff was nice and helpful. The rooms were old, bed was uncomfortable and too many homeless people surrounding the area.

I thought motel 6 was hit or miss, but that’s on me and I should know better. We travel with our dogs so I keep trying them out. I thought based on how many other hotels are in the area this one might be alright. The room was dirty, the floor gave me k mart feet walking from the shower to the bed. The mattress looked like it was sitting on random pieces of wood as the frame. The Wi-Fi didn't work. In general it was horrible. The receptionist was extremely nice and I got a refund for the remainder of my trip after that first night so that was pretty tight. I don’t really fault the staff, I blame myself for staying at a Motel 6 again. BUT I must warn against any man that has a family and thinks this might be a suitable place for them. If your girl don’t leave you after bringing her here, she’s got some kind of evil secrets…

It was a non-smoking room, but I got in there and it smelt like cigarettes everywhere. Set off my allergies. Plumbing issues inside. They need to seal off where the pipes are running through.

Some staff members were nice but everything else was terrible. The rooms were run down and not clean. The beds had holes in them and were uncomfortable. The ac made noises like it was going to break down at any moment. It smelled like as* randomly all the time. The refrigerator smelled bad but was functional. The hair dryer did not have a lid and my dad cuthkswlf with the blades!

Next to a busy Highway, but I knew this. AC worked great, it was clean and cheaper than other hotels close to downtown, old town, and beach. BAD STUFF: A lot of homeless and shady people around hotel. Bed was like an Old Spring Mattress that had flat spots/worn springs and really uncomfortable. Then the room would rumble literally every 10-15 minutes by some type of equipment. I thought it was someone playing a loud car system but nope, never figured out what it was - I DID NOT SLEEP VERY WELL AT ALL!!!

It’s a good option for a 1 night stay but it’s honestly very outdated & the furniture has a lot of wear&tear. It’s not very clean either. Front desk clerk was very nice. Good location, but yeah very very outdated and not very clean.

A/C machine barely worked, no fans, bed sliding off the platform. hallway stunk, room stunk, dirty exterior, hard to find parking, "locked" doors always unlocked. Never again.

Our room was big and clean. Had a smoky scent but i opened the window and it went away. Housekeepers were very helpful when asking for fresh towels.

This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room smelled bad, it was dirty, and clearly not cleaned properly. Service was terrible as well — the front desk staff were unhelpful and unprofessional. Nothing about this stay was positive: cleanliness, comfort, and service were all unacceptable. I booked this place because of the decent reviews, but it was completely misleading. On top of that, the rate was not cheap since it was the weekend, which made the experience even more disappointing. Overall, the hotel was dirty, unpleasant, and poorly managed. I would never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone.

The room was great and much cleaner than the crappy Marriott I stayed in the previous two nights that I paid much more money for. Even better, the room was 68 degrees when I checked in while my previous Marriott room never got below 85 degrees so I couldn't sleep. The room was great. Not so great were the loose dogs and homeless people in the parking lot. I call the nonemergency police #, and they said they had been ordered to ignore problems at this hotel. That's terrible because it has such a great location and their newly remodeled rooms are so nice.

Well only here for a night stay , was so bad when I checked in around 5pm , the desk clerk hardly even looked at me while doing transaction , I went to room to unpack,opened the door and air conditioner was rattling and loud I then went somewhere to eat and had a drink , decided to watch a game at the restaurant, cause I didn’t relish the idea of having to go back, if it was a few degrees cooler I’d of slept in my vehicle.but I went back and decided to catch a football game but tv was not working , I asked the front desk about it he said his manager went home and he doesn’t know anything about that (tv set up ) omg are you kidding me for over $300 laughable so never again at any motel 6

I got to the hotel. It was too dirty and too smelly to stay in. They gave me the money back at the hotel but you took money too. How does that happen? It was the Motel 6 and I would like to have my money back, you need to contact me so that I can get it back I would never Recommend your website in a lifetime. If you do not make good on what you did and not giving my money back that night is when I needed it.
