Besides the nice comfort and the convenience of having a couple of good restaurants in the hotel lobby, we loved being centrally located to everything NY had to offer. From train stations to adventures, we didn’t have far to go.

I paid extra for a city view room, but the view was only visible at an angle and not as advertised. The room was very small, with limited space between the bed and TV. Additionally, the hotel charged $5 per bag for luggage storage after check-out, which was very disappointing as this is not common practice. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

A man enters my room at night. And then an hour later scurry came banging on my door, scared me and told me I have to leave I had just checked in. It's was terrible. They never cleaned the room the next day. I don't think I should have to pay for the first bite since they work me up twice.

Excellent staff, very helpful and kind. The room was clean with the exception of the bathroom, it needs some maintenance work done, nothing crazy, just dated. Two excellent restaurants with direct access from the lobby. Overall, very nice hotel, perfect location, and I would visit again.

Do not stay here! We chose this hotel based on the high rating given by hotels.com. I have no idea who would rate this hotel anything higher than a 1.0. We paid a hefty price for a family suite for our family to stay one night in the City. We booked it the day of based on location and the hotel.com rating. We had a family of six and needed a suite. Check in was smooth and it was all downhill after that. This place has never seen an update to ANYTHING. If you like sleeping in your old grandparents basement with stuffy air, old carpeting and drapes and furniture that looks like it was bought at a garage sale, then this is the place for you. A family suite that holds six people had a bathroom the size of a closet. You could barely fit one person comfortably in there, yet they feel this is appropriate for a family suite? No place to sit outside the bathroom to dry hair or put makeup on. I had to basically sit on the floor (gross) in front of a mirror on the wall. We complained to hotels.com and asked them to assist us with getting a refund so we could leave and find another place to stay. There were plenty of great places we could have booked that would have been LESS than what we paid to stay here. Unfortunately, nobody could assist. The manager at the hotel reminded us that this hotel is not the Waldorf Astoria (clearly not). We weren't looking for the Waldorf, we were looking for a comfortable room for a family of six that justifies the amount of money we paid.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Closer to 2 star. Charged $5 to hold a bag for a few hours. Hotel is completely run down. Hallways smell terrible. Walls are paper thin. Housekeeping did not service the room.
