I have never wanted to be a travel blogger before but after staying here I wish I were so I could get paid to visit places like this. The QUALITY of all the materials they use in this place was for the long haul. No particle board here! Very vintage, industrial-comfort-artsy vibe. Every piece of furniture was really beautiful and sturdy. Like you didn't have to worry about something breaking. Totally jealous of the headboard, I mean it! The bathroom was beautiful, and everything was such high quality, it made our stay very special and comfortable. To top it of... they welcomed our pup with open arms and a gift! They showed her some love and I'll tell you she loved it. We also qualified for credits for the restaurant and had a nice breakfast too! I can't get over how much I love this place and I hope, when we can get to New Orleans that we can afford to stay here again because not only was it wonderful, fit our vibe, but it was in the center of everything we wanted to walk around and see there. Thank you to the staff there for making us feel welcome and for the beautiful location you have! Oh... and our price was VERY reasonable. We really love it and I even plan to look up the parent company to see if they have other similar art-hotel vibe places in other places in the US since now we trust our experience was exceptional. Thank you!!!!

I recently stayed at a 77 Old hotel that promised a relaxing experience, but instead, I found myself dealing with unexpected charges and poor customer service. Upon receiving my bank statement, I was shocked to discover that I had been charged for services I wasn't even aware I could use, such as the gym, phone, and internet. The hotel staff never informed me about these charges, nor did they provide any information about the incidental charges during the check-in process. Instead, they simply charged my card without any prior notice or consent. To make matters worse, the hotel failed to provide a receipt for these charges, leaving me in the dark about the specific services I was being billed for. It was only after multiple phone calls and hours of frustration that I was finally able to get some clarity on the situation. This experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, and I would strongly advise potential guests to be aware of the hidden charges and poor customer service at this hotel. It's essential to read the fine print and ask questions about any additional fees or charges before agreeing to them, as it seems the hotel is more interested in making a quick buck than providing a comfortable and transparent experience for their guests.

Staff checking in was rude. Charged $162.51 when checking that was not stated when booking at this property. I had already paid for the room weeks prior. But the added fees were for “damage and amenity” usage that’s supposed to be refundable. They only refunded $62.51. Thank goodness I snapped a time stamped picture of the amenity tray that was untouched before checking out. I will be calling tomorrow about the issue. Also, there was a window in our room that was bricked up, you could hear every movement from guest above and beside you, the floors were dirty, 1 towel in the bathroom for 2 guests.

The things I liked were the staff (willing to accommodate and very sweet), the ability to walk to multiple locations, and the character of the property such as the brick walls, art gallery etc. Areas the property could improve: didnt have our room restocked very well. Like new towels , toilet paper etc. (I’m sure they would’ve if I asked, I just assumed since we stayed there more than 3nights they would.) The flooring was a little sandy, and they have no microwaves anywhere to reheat anything. Other than a couple other small things like thin walls it’s a pretty solid place for the price. Would stay again.
