Pacific Best Inn

So much noise was made from neighbors and couldn’t sleep.

Clean and surrounded by plenty of options to eat. Room was a bit outdated but overall ok. Parking is small .

If you were expecting a quaint town feel with a name like Seaside, this hotel is not in that kind of area. The neighborhood feels rough. The rooms we had were fine and clean, but the carpeting is old. The showers seemed more recently updated as far as the tiling. Overall, we had a room to stay, but in the end, I probably should have done a little more research about the neighborhood. We booked this place last minute since we decided to travel just a couple of days before the weekend so there weren’t many choices left for hotels.

No door latch inside to make the door Safer. Found two hairs one is bathtub and one in microwave. Friendly staff and great price for the area.

The room at the Pacific Best Inn is spacious & comfortable. Good AC, great wide screen TV & great shower head. Carpet tacks pierced the bottom of my foot entering the bathroom & that needs to be fixed. Also a door fell off the clothes cabinet & that needs repair. But all in all a very nice room!

The bed was much too hard. If not for that I would come again.

Front desk was amazing, very personable. However the room wasn't the cleanest; the headboard was sticky, my husband stepped on chewed gum on the carpet just as we got there, the fire alarm was not in the ceiling with the wires hanging down. Overall the place wasn't horrible but it needs a good cleaning.

The remote control for the TV only turned the TV on and you could use the volume, but you could not change the channel. Also, the bathroom sink didn't drain very well.

The worst night of my life when I stayed there. I had got back from 5 hrs whale watching and I was super tired. The AC was running on high speed. I rolled the bed spread down and discover the only thing on

Fix inoperative WiFi and intermittent TV

It's an old motel in a old neighborhood. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, very 70's. Manager was very accommodating.

They have no late check-in process. Ring bell for sleeping staff, but hard to hear the buzzer, and staff was not happy to be awoken. We called as soon as we got stuck in road construction/road closure to let them know and were told to just ring the buzzer. Staff told us upon arrival that check-in is at 3pm and ‘not to be later than 3p to check-in if we book there again’ I again apologized and explained that the road construction on I-5 caused the late arrival. Finally got our room key with zero explanation or directions to the room. And the property oddly numbered the rooms on both floors in the 100’s ( 110’s downstairs and 130’s upstairs) Check-out was smoother and staff was polite the next day. I chalked up the attitude to being woken up but they really need to give a flyer/property map for their motel. I didn’t even know there was morning coffee in the lobby (and our coffee maker in room still had a use/dirty coffee pack dried out and smelly/musty inside so we couldn’t use it). The property has been renovating and the shower makeover was very well constructed. They do need to install a better safety lock on the door since there is only a key entry lock. The windows have torn and dirty screens to keep out insects (but the windows do open wide letting in the ocean cool air).
