The photo of the room is noting close to what was posted. It’s 1/2 the size. Our room was next to elevator & terribly loud. Tiny bathroom & zero charm. Bad bathroom. Tiny shower.

We were pleased with the neighborhood and our actual room. The staff member who checked us in seemed intoxicated and smelled strongly of alcohol. We were told we had a credit to use in the hotel but were charged and never received the credit. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the historic neighborhood.

Did not like the $35 fee that charged upon check in which was for the restaurant and bar, but could not be refunded if we did not use it. Also, the elevator situation was not ideal. Bed was very comfortable.

The staff and location was great! We enjoyed our cocktails/mocktails and apps at the bar. The TV was a huge pain to use. You have to sign into a google account to access the apps like Hulu that you still need to sign into. And you have to do that each day. The internet connection wasn’t great, so the tv would freeze. Overall it was fine, but I wouldn’t go back. I’d try somewhere else.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, staff couldn’t have been more friendly, and a clean comfortable room. Snacks and a Keurig in the hall for all on the floor to share was nice, although there was something wrong with the Keurig. (It worked, but there were multiple times I had to run it twice.)

We were very disappointed that we were not warned about the night club right across from our room. We were on the top floor facing the city. After a very long day it was absolutely draining and frustrating trying to fall asleep listening to the most awful beats until 2 am. The hotel was fully booked and we could not be moved to the other side of the hotel, the garden view. Staff was well aware of this issue and tried to help by providing the fans to create a white noise effect. To top it off the AC unit was extremely loud and condenser made the loudest startling clicking noise. And the mini fridge was located right next to the side of the bed next to the top of the head, so you are literally hearing it all night long.

Unfortunately because I used Expedia they put us in a room that faced an alley that had a bar with music until 1 am every night. It was so loud it sounded like we were at a rave. The hotel staff told us they save these rooms for people who get their room from Expedia and offered us earplugs. Ridiculous!

I was blown away by the Portland Harbor Hotel! I loved the backyard, it was beautiful and cozy and such a nice touch! We enjoyed a beautiful evening out there sipping wine. The rooms and lobby were beautiful as well, and the complimentary coffee and tea was such a nice touch. The staff was so friendly and attentive, and shared lots of tips about the area! I wish we stayed here longer!

The hotel was great. The area, Portland, was less than desirable. It was a dirty area filled with homeless people. It was disappointing the amount of homeless people begging for money. It was hard to enjoy sitting at an outside restaurant with people begging.
