Red Lion Hotel Coos Bay

Rooms are dark and dated. Breakfast is minimal with no tables for seating. We only had one towel in our room.

The room was musty with possible mold. And the breakfast was basically nonexistent- grab and go but not much to grab.

Desk clerk was very professional. The rooms however are not being cleaned at all. Garbage under the beds, fingernail clipping all over, mirrors and tv had smudges. The houe cleaners obviously don't care about their work ethnic and it shows. Red Lion in Coos Bay has gone down the tubes since last time i stayed. Switched rooms twice and still ended up leaving. I do not recommend this hotel.

Bathroom was clean but room area gross. Hair that wasn’t ours was found in the bed. Would not recommend.

The room was nice as well as the bathroom until we used the shower. there was no nonslip mat for the shower. the floor was quite slippery, and my wife slipped and fell. The rest of the vacation she was bruised and had a light elbow injury. We didn't notify the staff because there is always someone looking to sue or get out of paying their fair share. Would we use them again probably not.

No remote for tv. Had to call to get it, they were quick to bring it. Overall this place is very, very dated & in desperate need of repairs of fans & air conditioning! ( so dirty mole smell, & noisy) Red Lion should be ashamed! Do not recommend this Hotel!

Office staff were unfriendly and acted like they hate they job. They were too busy gossiping to help anyone. pool was closed and if i wouldn't have ask they wouldn't have told me. I saw someone get in it cause it wasn't locked and they were pissed cause it was gross. Room wasn't nice at all. There was a huge bag full of beer cans outside our room. Seemed like no one was staying there but the amount of traffic outside at night made me feel unsafe. Would never stay there again.

The room smelled terrible and was dirty

This Redlion "Hotel" is a Motel. The door key card would only work just about every five tries. But, the door lock was loose (a nail sticking out), so when the lock did turn green, you had to turn and push up hard to get it to open. The room was large, but had a very musty smell. Carpet was stained in several spots. The carpet also seemed damp around the refrigerator. Turned the air conditioner on to cool the room. We put our thing down and went about our evening in Coos Bay. When we returned around midnight ee found that the air conditioner not only didnt cool the room it was almost 5 degrees warmer than when we left. After testing and making sure there was no user error (heat setting made no change to the meager blowing air that came out), i went to the landline to call the front desk. Clearly printed on the phone it said to dial 20 to get the front desk. I dialed it resulting in a tone that indicated that was incorrect. Decided to use the small window to get some air flow into the room. Did not discuss this with staff in the morning when we left. The quality of this "Hotel" was far below any Redlion i have stayed at in the past. I would not recommend staying here.

Was concerned for the stay. The last time I stayed was horrible. Rooms were cleaner,cleaner workers and easier check in. Did not charge me twice this time. The only issue was that the ac didnt work. But they brought us a fan.

Property was fine. I rented 2 rooms. Very disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance with no warning. Only reason we were staying was there was a pool! Should have received a discount for non working pool and no notices pool was down. Front desk didn’t even tell us it was down until I asked about it!

Large room. Very poor lighting. No trash can in bathroom. Second sink was nice but no soap. No rack for hanging clothes

Good for good nights sleep

This hotel is old but it was fairly clean. Staff was not overly friendly but polite. The pool was unfortunately closed. If needing to stay in that area I would probably stay there again.

First of all pool was advertised but was not open because of maintenance. When we walked into the room and that carpet looks disgustingly dirty. The bed was so worn out and uncomfortable. The TV only had

When we stepped into our room we did a walk through. There was a very large spider in the bath tub and cob webbs across the shower area. The toilet was filthy. There was multiple types of hair on the seat,lipstick , and soiled. We carry disinfectant wipes with us, so we cleaned the toilet. It was Gross. This then made us question if the sheets had been changed and if the rest of the room had been cleaned. I woke the next morning with 4 different locations of bed bug bites. We were in room 236. We would like a refund.

The faucet did not work in the shower and they would not agree to refund any portion of the charge.

It was a great for the 1 night

The charging station for EV's was convenient. The room smelled a bit musty.
