Sonesta ES Suites Dallas Richardson

Our stay was great. The room was everything that we needed, but there are some ‘buts’: the only way to get ice easily in from your room fridge, but it’s not easy when your ice maker doesn’t work. Also this is a work oriented hotel. We did not get our room serviced because the maid came by at 7:45 AM, presumably after most people go to work, but it was on a Sunday and they never came back; so no service during our stay. We’re pretty tidy people; so not a huge problem for us, but others might really have an issue.

Excellent stay. There was a small issue and the hotel handled it very well. Clean, well laid out rooms.

We stayed here for two nights with our 4 kids. We got two rooms.. each room had a double bed and a sofa with pull out bed. Rooms are older but well maintained and clean but not blemish free. But everything was so clean that I didn't at any time feel uneasy about the blemishes. AC was amazing. The space is amazing. There could be more toilettries offered and there is no ice/bucket offered. The beds are more on the firm side. Don't count on the sofa bed to be an actual sleep option unless it's for a small child. The mattress in both of our rooms sofa beds were thin and the metal bars through the frames made them physically unable to be slept on by my husband or my 10 yr old daughter or 14 yr old son. Hotel is pretty quiet. Quiet area. Staff was very friendly. TVs are really nice and there is always something to watch on tv. Other guests are friendly. The breakfast was plentiful but don't expect amazing quality. But it's perfectly adequate. There is room service but it's pricey. We didn't order so I can't say if it's good. Swimming pool was clean and never crowded. Shower pressure was lacking but shower amenities are nice. Overall the experience was nice and our whole family gives this a 7 out of 10... we would have given a 9 out of 10 if we had two rooms with two queen beds in each room as the only real complaint we have was the comfort of the beds and sofabeds.
