Loved this oasis! Highly recommend! Will go back for sure. The only reason I gave 4 stars to area around the property isn’t bc I couldn’t walk to fancy restaurants but they were super short uber away

This was our first time staying at the Sparrows Lodge and we will definitely be back. It is small, intimate and quiet with a wonderful staff, food and drinks. There are no TVs or phones so you need to be ready to relax. Some of the rooms could use a bit more insulation, but you can’t beat the location, the vibe and the atmosphere

Well we booked it a month in advance on orbitz. Arrived at the hotel and sparrows says that because of a “software glitch” they did not have my reservation and the hotel is sold out and tough crap there is nothing they can do. Unbelievably bad service. Orbitz stepped up and booked us at the Parker which was fantastic and an upgrade from crap sparrows. Stay away, they don’t know what they are doing. They didn’t offer a dinner or discount for a return stay or anything.

Dog friendly property this boutique hotel is one of the nicer options. We stayed at in quite some time.
Lulu and her team were amazing!!! Five stars, our dog Jolie Rose is a big critic of hotels and she loved this place!!! can’t wait for our next visit!

The facility decor, plants, art and lighting were very pleasant. As far as security a homeless person got in and the police took a long time to respond. The parking lot was not safe our car got hit booth days parked right in the front. $$$ in damage. When i asked the general manager about the security camera's he stated that he could not share it due to others privacy. At a cost to my privacy at thousands of dollars. My insurance company will be submitting a claim against the property.

I was waiting to post this as we were told the manager would be reaching out to us, but he hasn't yet. We were so looking forward to our two night stay here. The room was a little unexpected, more rustic and less chic for the price, and definitely could hear everything in the ajoining room and outside. Everything went fine until our last dinner when we waited for over an hour to receive our food. We ordered two manhattans at the bar and were told there was no vermouth so instead received a different cocktail that was overly sweet. We ordered a salad, which never came and two burgers, both of which were cold and overcooked. We expected more from this restaurant given the reviews and actually cancelled a dinner at a different place just to enjoy our last night at the hotel. We were comped our food and bev, but the evening was spoiled. Staff was very apologetic saying that there was just one person in the kitchen. They were clearly short staffed and inexperienced on a Monday night. Our check-in was great, however, and the staff at that time was very experienced and kind.

Lovely facility but you have to be in the right mindset for the rooms- feed troughs for bathtubs, open showers, high set sink- definitely not cosy or free of sharp edges. We were there when it was cold- staff was lovely and food was good- breakfast a little over- rated we paid a fair amount extra for hard boiled eggs rather weak coffee and cheese cubes - the gardens with lemon and orange trees and palms and pools are gorgeous- water features, fire pits. In the right mind set a superb place but luxury definitely is a little rough-

this is a magical place. It’s definitely a fantastic lifestyle. I love it so much. I went twice in two weeks from Los Angeles, Alex and Lulu are great! is Aro. they do everything to make you stay wonderful food is incredible. The chef a genius.
