It was our first time staying at this property. We were all impressed with how helpful the staff was and the cleanliness of the rooms. Mattresses were great, and the quiet of the rooms helped everyone get some sleep. We will return when we are visiting WWU again!

too loud, I think it was the HVAC systems outside , you could hear the rooms around talking all night. The sheets/pads on bed kept coming off at the corner. The TV was terrible picture and no internet to watch streaming. Breakfast options were not very good. I will say the staff was very helpful!

Staff at check in (and check out) were very friendly. Room was great-loved the separate toilet (with a tiny sink) from the shower. Note neither the toilet or shower door locked-they were barn doors. Missing a blanket for the pullout couch but also didn’t ask for one. Not sure why hotels only stock for bath towels in a room that sleeps 5-6. My son loved the separation from the room and pullout couch. Biggest downside was the pool. There was A LOT of chlorine in the pool and hot tub. One little girl was coughing due to it. It bothered mine and my kids’ eyes. So much they didn’t want to swim in the morning (and they love swimming). Breakfast was good and they continued to refill it. Eggs, jalapeño frittata, and sausage were the warm options. They also had muffins, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal etc. kids were able to get soda at breakfast from soda fountain which they loved. Unfortunately it was Pepsi and not Coke!

We did not have a very restful sleep. The cooling system did not work properly so the room was too warm for sleeping comfortably. You also could not turn on the bathroom light during the night because the light could wake up people sleeping. Having a bathroom directly across from the beds people are sleeping on is unusual. Bathroom doors were not solid wood but had a frosted piece of glass inset in the door. At night, if you turn of the light in the bedroom, the light falls directly on the other people sleeping. Bummer!! The hotel room works if you only have one occupant. More than one...not so well.

My wife and I tried this place on a lark; my daughter is set to be a student at Western next year, and we needed a place to stay to learn the town. I've been blown away, honestly--the hotel is clean, quiet, and has everything I could want. Great morning breakfast (free!), the bar at night is ridiculously affordable for a hotel bar, great pool, a parking garage if you want it--this is where I'll stay when I visit Bellingham now and forever!
