The area around this property was rough with some that were homeless or looked that. Two different days I asked the front desk to change a 100 bill. They said both times they had no cash. I find that unusual. Most of the staff were professional But a couple of times they did not want to be bothered. Just ok

The staff member at the check-in counter kept on asking for $75 for early check-in (like 12pm) even though multiple rooms were available. We were with small kids and she did not care much about that.

SpringHill Suites by Marriott on 46th Street is deceptively located between a Scientology building and an Italian restaurant. I liked that it is conveniently located near Times Square in the heart of the Theater District. They also serve daily breakfast buffet. What I dislike is the hidden $50 surcharge per day. Be Aware!

Arrived at 8 pm. They did they had a computer problem and couldn't make keys. We sat in the lobby and waited until 10 pm. Then we decided to book a different hotel. As we were leaving they said they could make our key and let us in. We asked for a refund and left. Things do happen but the staff did not offer any resolution except "wait there and have a free drink"

Thus hotel is located just one block away from Time Square. The hotel was a very clean and within walking distance to the Pier and the Park. Affordable offsite parking is very conveniently located just across the street. It was so easy to park and ealk to the hotel. The lobby was welcoming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Pur room was super clean. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection of food choices. We cant say enough great things about he staff. This hotel is affordable, quiet and very clean. We highly recommend it.
