Super 8 by Wyndham Farmington

Weather was rainy. Room constantly smeeled of mildew and stagnant air. Unfortunately, it did not matter how long we left a fan or air conditioner running. I will say five stars for hotel staff, as all were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sorely lacking.

Queen size bed was actually a full size. Lobby smelled clean and I saw the staff cleaning the lobby and hallways. Room was very outdated and smelled musty. Sheets had stains on them and top blanket had burn holes. The room itself was “clean” or as clean as could be expected based on overall age and condition of the room. It was ok to sleep for one night but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel was alright. The hotel needs a little TLC, but overall was fine for what we paid for. We felt safe & enjoyed the many restaurants & amenities around the hotel.

Clean and quiet

Cheap hotel for last minute situation. Some towels giving were already dirty that was supposed to be clean. Floors in the room were wet and sticky. Missing caulking in the bathroom tub.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff!!

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend my granddaughter’s dance competition, it was a decent place. The lady at the desk was very friendly both at check in and out, our room was pretty small but it was clean and the bed was very nice. Dog friendly was a plus, it definitely needs updated and a few repairs here and there. The breakfast selection was very limited but what there was available was good. It’s in a great location, several restaurants, a grocery store and a Walmart are available within walking distance. I was not disappointed overall, and I would stay here again.

Terrible staff.

Very affordable, easy access, close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is a little worn, but good value for the money.

At check-in I was given keys to a dirty room.

They had roaches in the room and because I had a dog which I paid 45 a night to have they stuck us in a dirty room the tub didn't work the toilet was all wobkey dog hair all behind the bed and night stands

Ice and snow had not been removed. Handicap rooms were not ADA at all. Still had bathtub with potable chair. TV did not work. Sink had no stopper. Toilet too low for handicap use.

Pretty nice low budget hotel. Inexpensive, no frills, but clean, comfortable, small room, with a friendly staff. Everything you need, nothing you don’t. Would stay again if traveling alone.

The best and the cheapest

This was a property set up as pet friendly. The interior walls had multiple areas that showed patching and repair and were left that way rather than being painted over. Under the sink there were holes so large my cats could have crawled through into the space between the walls without even having to squeeze through. I had to use the large bath towels to plug them. There were dark hairs in the sink, on the pillows and in the bed- which had sheets that were so wrinkled they looked slept in. The blankets were paper thin. The heat couldn’t be adjusted and the unit was so loud it startled us every time it came on. My cat jumped up on the window ledge which appeared to be marble and it flipped up. It was a piece of wood not nailed or glued down. The ceiling had 2 seams of cracking plaster. Water dripped all night in the bathroom. The toilet handle had to be held down or it would not flush completely. It was late at night and I’m in my 60’s. After 13 hours on the road I wasn’t capable of going through the process of finding another pet friendly hotel. The only part of the experience that stood out was the woman working the desk. She was so “real” and respectful and spoke positively of the kindness of the community that I determined I would stay the night though would never stay there again. The location is good and appeared safe with a group of other hotels in the immediate area. I have never left a negative review before but what I wanted to inform other travelers.

My room was quiet at the end of the hallway--temperature was good, refrig worked well, bed was fine, and room was clean. Thank you. A few minor repairs could be made to improve one's stay--a few places had pieces of plaster broken off, caulking around sink wasn't intact. And a few carpet stains. Overall, a good stay!!!

It was perfect for a quick 1 night stay. Front desk lady was really nice and helpful. Place was very clean.
