Super 8 by Wyndham Gainesville TX

The room they gave me was very very dirty, I had to request a different one and even outside the property was very nasty and it smelled bad , real bad, never again for sure!

The smell outside the building was horrible. The rooms were clean enough I guess. You could just tell there was no attention to details and sheets felt awful. Last time we will stay there. The area around it, is also very run down. Breakfast choices were terrible. We went to an IHop.

Waiting on A/C to be fixed.

Nice room and friendly staff. Roof needs repairs from looks of it. Pool area could be spruced up and cleaner. Hoping breakfast is good in the morning!

Rooms were okay, but lack of elevator to second floor was not ideal. Stairs seemed unsafe. People hanging out in hallways and people working on cars outside in parking lot felt unsafe and strange. I don’t plan on returning.

This had to be the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in the last 20 years. It was terrible! To late to get our money back so we stayed but never again I was up all budget checking my car did not feel safe at all

No elevator and we had a room upstairs

Horrible… and very disappointed ☹️. Unclean, people hanging around and sitting in the hall way. Beds not the same. Missed the beginning of the concert because we had to search for another hotel stay.

The evening we checked in we found hairs in the beds. The shower knob fell off in my husband’s hand. The next morning when my husband complained they said we could change rooms but we couldn’t pull the covers back and check for hairs. The next day we went to go swimming and there was an uncovered grate that was dangerous to children and elderly directly outside the door going to the pool. There was no hand rail to enter the pool and had a large step down into the pool. We said forget it got our stuff and checked out. At the check out the clerk only said sorry but never offered a discount or to reimburse for our staff that we didn’t even get to enjoy or stay. There were others behind that we leaving due to the conditions of the building, room, and lack of consideration of the staff.

Check in was fast & easy. The man at the desk was friendly. The hallway smelled like someone was cooking with Indian spices. The room smelled clean and was spacious. There were crumbs on the floor beside the bed, that hadn’t been swept. The door on the inside of the bathroom needed to be cleaned. I forgot ALL of my toiletries at home. The nice man at the desk gave me a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, & shaving cream at no charge. We had a good sleep. There were no eggs, bacon, or sausage to go with my breakfast waffle at breakfast. Checkout was also made easy through a text.

BED BUGS. No refund. I think if a hotel has bed bugs you should get a refund. We left with our stuff in trash sacks we had. I asked the attendant at the desk for 2 trash bags. He said i can give you only one. 2 elderly women drove 5 hours in the middle of the night to get home . We were in the same clothes and no sleep for 24 hours.I'm a Google reviewer. I did one. It has a video of live bed bugs. I wonder if your itching. We did all the way home. Were going to leave our stuff outside for at least 5 days. I did feel threaten because I had a complaint and thought they would say i did something to the room. I said that to the attendant. So,he finally walked to the room and checked it out. He said it looked fine. So,I took lots of pictures. No Super 8 by Wyndham for us. Men were lurking around the hotel outside. It startled us women. It ended up as a nightmare. We couldn't stay anywhere else,because our clothes touch the beds.We went home and cut our trip to just 1 day. NOT HAPPY AND VERY DISAPPOINTED. WAIST OF TIME.I hope they have cameras. I think, if they have cameras it's for the bed bugs to know your coming. Gross!!!!

Nice clean and reasonably priced

Did not end up staying at this place. I checked in and checked out 10 mins later. I was scared to even put my bag down, didn’t know if I would get bed bugs. The pillows were yellow the side chair was so nasty dirty I don’t even see how they rented the room out at all. The whole experience from the moment I walked in was dirty like it didn’t ever get cleaned.

Room clean, Wood laminate floors, comfortable bed, hot shower. Breakfast was adequate
