Place is great and clean , only meant for sleeping after a longsome tiring day. Its convenient and everything is a walkable distance.

It is very noisy. The automatic locks on the doors especially. There are many cabins in the same floor so you hear the locks all the time at early times in the morning while people get ready to leave. Sometimes as early as 4am. But the room is private, the facilities are super clean and the staff is wonderful. If noise is not a problem for you, this place is awesome

My overall stay was good. I ended up with a top bunk and a narrow metal ladder to climb in and oit of bed, but that may be my fault for late check in. Luck of the draw! Robot for check in and out was weitd but it work. Plus, there was one human there to assist, thankfully. Glad there was a curtain to pull aroind my bed because one guest had a constant cough and I was afraid of getting really sick from her. Clean bathroom and very nice location.

Ac didn’t work properly, room key didn’t work, had to keep asking to get my room cleaned, & some of the front desk staff were rude. Also no gym, no amenities, no breakfast.

I really enjoyed staying at this location and would have extended my stay had the rooms not all sold out. It's in a neighborhood close to everything, food, shopping, transportation. The rooms and facilities were very well maintained. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Definitely somewhere I'll be booking again in the future.

This was a first for me for this kind of accommodation. Quite odd to stay in a semi private space! However, more private than a shared hostel, felt safe, and the price and location were outstanding. Also enjoyed the common spaces, the friendly staff, and the quirky decor. For these reasons I would stay here again. Just be aware that there are noise restrictions and you are sharing "air space" with other visitors!

Nolita Hostel is in a great vibrant neighborhood, where you cannot be bored night or day. Rooms are "pods" constructed with beadboard & lattice ceilings.. bed very comfortable, towel,sheets & blanket very clean. Silence rule exists in the pod areas but you can hear other guests clicking in/out of their rooms & front desk offers guests earplugs/eye masks. Shared kitchens, utensils, fridge, & filtered water dispenser were clean & tidy as were the cozy common rooms. Had trouble with the online check-in but Steve at the front desk was wonderfully helpful & patient getting me registered. I'd definitely use the Nolita for another 1 or 2 night downtown stay.

Second time staying here and it’s still great. Great staff and it’s located around so many stores and restaurants. It’s also one of the most affordable places in NYC so I definitely recommend it to everyone.

I had the worst experience at this hostel, I was in room 1 which was connected to the door to the hallways every time someone came in and out it slammed shut and rocked my cubicle. It was so loud I got no more than min of sleep. Seemed to be someone moving in and out every 15 min. The toilets were a joke too, 1 cubicle for over 50 rooms and 2 showers and 2 sinks and one of each was broken! I didn’t sleep or enjoy my experience and deserve a full refund
