It was a nice place and convenient to walking all over Solvang! Free wine tasting on certain nights. Cleaning staff and evening maintenance person were very kind and caring! Would recommend!

This inn is as charming as the town and the staffs are all wonderful. Our room was on the second floor with a view of the gorgeous courtyard garden below. Sitting at the front courtyard is a treat as soothing, fragrant aroma from the spa gently drifts into the space. The garden at the back has a waterfall and fireplace; we enjoyed lounging there in the evening with a bottle of wine after a day of exploring. Breakfast was complimentary. Our stay here was the best value for money of all along our California road trip.

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to highlight the exceptional customer service, especially from Richel, who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.
However, I do want to caution future guests about the presence of wild dogs around the hotel. We had an unfortunate incident in the hotel parking lot where a wild dog attacked our two puppies. We had to spend about 30 to 40 minutes defending them, and unfortunately, the hotel did not take responsibility for the incident. Because of this, I would not recommend this hotel to guests traveling with small pets.

We took a short trip to town and decided to stay here. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING about this place and our stay here was perfect! Check in was quick and easy, all staff were extremely friendly, our room was generously spacious, recently renovated (everything including the bathroom was new!), the amenities were superb and what more can I say? I was originally looking for a place that has free breakfast. I was not interested in places that advertised free breakfast but only offered coffee in your room counting that as “free breakfast”. The Wine Valley Inn exceeded my expectations with a full lodge style dinning room with a generous breakfast bar including scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, breads, juices, coffee and teas (the coffee was good!).
Our stay was quiet, peaceful and filled with friendly people and overall it was THE perfect experience! I WILL be back here next time we’re in town. Thank you Wine Valley Inn!

We were here for the July 4th weekend. From the front of our hotel we could enjoy the amazing all American parade and at night enjoy the fireworks in the distance without hassling with crowds.
We enjoyed the wine social hour and the outdoor fireplaces. The room was on the small side but clean, comfortable, and quiet.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
Solvagn is like a trip to Denmark, be sure to enjoy the danish cuisine, chocolate, and pastries. Danish sausage is mild a flavorful and offered at every meal.
A walk around town is like a trip to Europe coupled with the usual American commercialism. Great shops.
