Wingate by Wyndham Lincoln Airport East I-80

The hallways smelled horrible, the shower was a little dirty, the fan was loud in the bathroom, the bed was hard, the exit door didn't open properly from inside.

Staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable. My wife said room smelled of smoke. A/C unit worked, but not well. Breakfast was disappointing because (1) coffee was very weak, (2) there was a warmer for eggs or sausage, but it was empty, and (3) the juice from the machine tasted terrible. Location is convenient off freeway. Branding is confusing since one side of outdoor sign says "Wingate by Wyndham", other side of sign says "Country Inn by Radisson", coffee cups in lobby say "Hilton", and toiletries in bedroom were 3 different brands. Overall, stay was OK for quick overnight, but I would not want to stay here for extended stay.

Did not have a signed anywhere that showed that but the properties name was And. The parking lot were dimly lit.

You can tell it is an older hotel. Room was stuffy right when we got in it, but AC worked fine. Beds were comfortable. Past guests may have had a dog. The sheer curtain was ripped. It was very clean. NO POOL

When I checked in the clerk was really friendly. As the night progress the service got better. The room was really clean and the was comfortable. There were a couple not so bad complaints thing. The toilet Flushed slow and I had to stand there until it completely flushed. Also the some of the fire alarms we chirping.

For a quick overnight, it’s a place to sleep. Definitely college town hotel, but cleaner

nothing unique. Chemical smell throughout building. Entryway dirty with cords going through doorway creating tripping hazards. No signs for anything going on. (Hazards) No coffee in lobby to grab before leaving. Would not recommend to stay here. The pictures on website are not accurate.

The advertisement for booking had beautiful pictures, well lit rooms, very clean and prestine. When we arrived, there was limited lighting indoors and outside, poor lighting in the parkinglot. There was mold on the shower head, sheets/ blankets had snags and runs. The floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed.

Totally misrepresented the property on Expedia. Told us the pool was closed indefinitely after they took our money. Completely dilapidated property.

Staff are trying to make hotel improvements. Staff was polite. The property itself needs alot of maintenance. Including landscaping, fire alarm batteries need changed, stains and sticky spots in room, dirty sprinkler heads, i have no concrerns about a hotel that is outdated. However it needs to be clean. Also area seems like needs more city assistance.

Not well taken care of and moldy

I reserved through Hotels dot com. At the desk they could not find my reservation. I called Hotels and got a refund. Then the desk attendant booked us a room. But I got two separate charges on my VISA for one night. There are two phone numbers for the Wingate. One doesn’t work. The other is the cell phone of the manager. I talked to him once, he asked me to call back today. Now that phone number doesn’t answer either.

Stayed in 213. Shower drain was plugged good so had to stop the water every minute or so to let it catch up. Guests here are slobs it seems from the random garbage in the hallways. Housekeeping needs some more hands on deck but they do what they can and are very polite. Overall, good people work here and do a great job with what they have. It's just needs some work and some more help.

Property recently changed hands and is not necessarily ready for guests. There were bugs and hair in the room and the workers seemed unsure of everything they said and did. No shuttle to airport.

When we came to check in, the computer system was down. The gal at the desk gave us a room then asked me to come back by later to sign the paperwork. We went up to the room and the door card worked - but the security bolt was fastened from the inside, which meant the door only opened about an inch. Nobody said anything from inside, but clearly we couldn't get in, so we went back to the front desk. The gal didn't seem to understand, but gave us a new room. We asked for one nearer the elevator, but she gave us one as far from the elevator as could be. We're both disabled, so that was frustrating. Later, I went to do laundry and after running my clothes through a dryer cycle, they were still wet. I ran them through a second cycle and opened it to find that the clothes were STILL wet. The dryer was blowing air but not tumbling. I went to let the front desk know that their dryer was broken, and the guy that was working then seemed too stupid to comprehend what was wrong. He also didn't offer to refund me the extra money I spent on the dryer. Breakfast was very barebones. Toast, cereal, yogurt, waffles. That's it. No protein (except the yogurt). Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. The room wasn't bad and the bed was fairly comfortable but until they get better employees, you'll be setting yourself up for frustration.

This was labeled country inn and suites outside. I think they abandon it and the Wingate started using it. The outside looked like a war zone. The insides looked worse. Tub had missing enamel. Soap dish had mold. Carpets were dirty and strung together. No coffee at breakfast. Towels were thread bare. Dont stay here.

The staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable.
