For the price, this is a great choice. Great location, walking distance for almost everything in Ward 1. Great service, all staff was very helpful and friendly. The room, if a bit used, was very clean, with an untypical for the region soft bed.

We had an excellent 4 night stay at Cap Town Hotel. Its location in District 1 was very convenient where we practically walked everywhere - sightseeing, shopping at Ben Thanh Market and Saigon Center, walking to watch the water puppet show at night, and trying out numerous delicious restaurants in the area. Our beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning, mostly Asian items, including some days serving pho noodles or Banh mi, and fried eggs fresh to order. The hotel staff provided services that exceeded our expectations. Our room was cleaned every morning with toilet paper and towels replaced. Breakfast server was attentive, refilling empty stations, clearing tables and bringing us our pho or egg order. Hotel bellman was friendly and helpful, greeted us with a smile, offered us umbrella when it was raining, and assisted us with our luggages. Some staff spoke limited English, thus sometimes you may need to repeat or clarify. This hotel was very reasonably priced compare to other hotels in district 1. For those planning to take group tours, most tour groups will pick you up and drop you off if your hotel is in District 1. So if you want to stay in a basic, clean, well priced and conveniently located hotel that includes breakfast everyday, we recommend you to consider Cap Town Hotel in HCMC.

Second time staying here. Very nice, clean hotel, excellent service, no bugs. Wifi was pretty good on floor 4. 2 bottles of water a day, and the buffet breakfast is pretty good, good amount of food, coffee and juice for drinks. Overall recommend.

Excellent hotel in a great spot in District 1. Many attractions only a short walk or grab ride away. The front desk, bell boys and cleaners were all very pleasant. The room was very clean. The furnishings were old but how ever many years ago they bought the furniture it was probably not cheap just old now. Lots of space in the room. Can’t think of any issues other than the bathroom window doesn’t close and there is no working vent fan in the washroom. Overall 5/5.

This was a nice little hotel in a good location just off a Main Street which meant we weren’t disturbed by traffic noise during the night. We had a superior room but it wasn’t huge. It was clean and comfortable with toiletries provided. There was air conditioning which was lovely. There was mould on the ceiling in the bathroom but that was it. There’s a fridge and free bottles of water (as well as ones you’ll have to pay for). There is a restaurant there but when we asked what time breakfast was, they said it wasn’t open. There’s free WiFi which worked well. Overall, an enjoyable stay.
