Excellent for a short stay close to the beach

The rooms are dated, not very clean, and small. Depending on what level you are on you can hear the traffic outside. Walls are also paper thin so you can hear loud guests next door. The staff does try their best to accommodate however. Location is great, right next to the beach and close to many restaurants and eateries. All in all, I would not return for a future stay here.

走過馬路即是美溪沙灘，附近也很多超市跟餐廳、咖啡廳，很方便。 入住時櫃台還特地請一位會說標準中文的美女來辦理check in，很貼心。 餐廳不大，但早餐選擇夠多，沙發椅也很舒適，會想再回訪的一間飯店！

Halina Hotel was beautiful, wonderful pool and deck. Kind staff went above and beyond during our stay. Parking was extremely safe and convenient for our bikes. Very walkable area, close to the beach, quick ride to the airport. Highly recommend and I would stay again.

The hotel offers a value for money stay. The surrounding area are filled with restaurants and shops. Just look out for vendors like the fruit stall on the right of the hotel (looking at the hotel) in front of a produce store. She tried selling me a comb of bananas for VND300,000. The area is very Korean with restaurants and supermarkets selling Korean food and goods. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Daisy who works at the restaurant and front lobby is exceptionally helpful so is My who looks after the rooftop bar, pool and gym. We had the pleasure of being served by an Intern called Bubby, a very bright young lady who is very customer oriented, she remembered the coffee and style of the coffee I drank and she remembered it from day one when she served me. She also ensured that I visited the Dragon bridge at the correct time to see the display. When I was staying at the hotel they offer Tea with cakes, really delicious. The down side of the hotel is that you need to walk up steps to the lobby and as most Viet hotels there are no railings for support and there is no lift to get up to the reception from the street level. Like wise you are required to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the rooftop. Watch your steps getting to the top or coming down as the steps are dark in color and can be slippery. Another issue they should rectify is that there is only one tiny lift. You need a little patience sometimes especially when it is check in time. The beds are nice.

Receptionists are friendly and helpful. Room is small with some bugs. Towels look old, elevator is very slow.

Very affordable rooms, close proximity to the beach with all the modern amenities you’d expect from the hotel. Rooms were the cleanest of all the budget hotels I’ve been in Vietnam

The hotel is 5min away from the beach, which is good if that's what you came for. Miles away from city centre(if there even is one in D.),no bus stop nearby so have to take a taxi everywhere,walking takes too long.The room was microscopic,smallest I've ever stayed in but it was nicely furnished and quite new with a big comfortable bed and that was all I needed for a night. There is also a very small but nice rooftop pool.Breakfast was ok.All would have been fine if not for three things: the entire room stank of cigarettes even though it was marked as a non-smoking room. I am 100% sure the room was not aired before we moved in, which then made me think what other things were not done properly...Well, as if to confirm that,when I tried the dressing gown on I nearly vomited because it stank of cigarettes so bad!!I mean the smell went right through them!It suspect they hang there for days, not washed,disgusting.The housekeeping staff are simply not doing their job. Moreover, when I looked closer at the toilet seat,I noticed(what I thought/hoped were)water stains..It only took a gentle swipe with a tissue to remove them, which shows that the toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly either!!The shower has no wall separating it from the rest of the bathroom-while you're washing the water goes absolutely everywhere. Finally when we asked staff to book us a taxi, they just got one of the taxis parked outside hotel-clearly they have a deal;meter was going like crazy,what a scam&hotel knows.

The overall experience was good especially the staff. I had some issues with my air con and they really took effort to fix it and one of the staff is constantly following up. I accidentally left my stuff in my hotel after check out and they sent it to my location when I called them.

The Hotel is new and clean but finishing a are not done well as still paint on the windows and pillars of the walls impede the views which is not the case in the photos you see when purchasing. Beach is beautiful just water is very dirty and a lot of plastic and debris from the river close by so not really great to swim. Swimming pool is great and service was good other then that behind the hotel is very dirty with a huge rubbish dump as you walk out on the left side which attracts a lot of rats. Hotel rooms are good and comfortable with amenities and towels which are up to standard. As said before only things is the finishing of the hotel were rushed in construction and some lights, bath fittings and painting was done very fast. Not a deal breaker but looks a bit cheap. Good access to near by restaurant and shopping as well which makes walking in this area very easy and safe.

Can't ask for more with such good price. Staff is extremely helpful, and I'd like to sing praises for Daisy who was so kind throughout. Just 5 mins walking distance to My Khe beach. Love the decor. Breakfast was alright. The swimming pool is quite small though. But still, you won't regret booking this hotel!

Pros: - Hotel close to the beach - Sea view from rooftop swimming pool - Breakfast is good - Staff is friendly (some) Cons: - Both corridor & room have very unpleasant smell - Room and bed are very small - Air conditioning is very weak - Only 2 set of towel & amenities provided for triple room - Only 1 slow elevator serves all 11 floors - Pool, bar, gym & sauna are all within a very small area - Booked 2 sea view rooms but given the rooms at lowest floor with no view at all

i am glad to have chosen this hotel. Comfortable bed, clean room, no insects, nice breakfast, .... and most important friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Daisy, Bich and MyMy in giving us advices where to dine, translating and even helping us to top up our pre-paid phone card. The hotel is also a few minutes walk to the beach, so we can enjoy the ocean under the sun. My little suggestion is that the hotel can borrow towels at the front desk for guests to bring to the beach (though you can buy a poor quality but very expensive one at the beach). For a small hotel like Halina, it is and will continue to be the people that bring returning guests instead of its hardware. The hotel owner should be glad to have a team of excellent staff.

Everything are good except the aircon is not cool. Basically we have do use fan even while we are in the room.
