Overall experience is great!! The driver contacted me before picking me up, all crews are friendly and helpful. The hiking was not easy if you don’t hike that much, but it’s doable! We got the mask, head lamp, and they gave us hot tea when we’re on top to watch the sunrise. We didn’t get to go down and see blue fire due to unfortunate incident recently, but the rest are worth it! Highly recommend this provider 💙

I joined an open trip to Ijen Crater as a solo traveler, and the experience was amazing from start to finish. Thank God, the trip went smoothly. I was traveling solo from Batam, but rather than the hassle of taking public transportation (Damri), I ended up choosing this package because it included a gas mask, headlamp, mineral water, hot tea at the summit, and fried bananas at the bottom, as well as pick-up and drop-off at the pick-up/drop-off point. My tour guides, Mas Ican and Mas Uzii, were excellent. Mas Ican was very patient as a sweeper for the women who often took pictures and often stopped, and he also helped us find a place for morning prayers. Our driver, Pak Dedi, was very skilled at driving, but still careful, and he was kind enough to bring my phone charger to the homestay, which I left in his car yesterday. My annoyance of waiting for pick-up for almost four hours was completely repaid with the stunning panorama and photos Mas Ican took from his iPhone, which I borrowed for the photos! Thanks a lot, Ican! Continued success to you all.

Cool, cheapest on Traveloka, won't disappoint

Overall the tour was very satisfying, the only disappointing thing was the tourist spot where the blue fire which is the icon of the Ijen crater was not there and that reduced the number of tourists to the Ijen crater.

The guide is friendly and very helpful for tracking. For solo trips, don't worry, the guide will help you take photos. You can also get to know each other if you join an open trip.

the guides were all super friendly and caring, just one advice better disclose all information to the tourists beforehand regarding the unavailability of blue fire inside the ijen caves. Perhaps also a suggestion for the government to solve the disparity and b2b solution so that the miner company won't disturb and put out the blue fire
