it was quite a slow crawl through the pass. scenery was nice but a lot of repairs and co struction has reduced the experience.

There weren't many people in the cabin at that time. The staff came to tell me that I could move to another seat, which was exactly what I had thought. The seat I got wasn't suitable for viewing the view at all. It was sitting against the direction of the train and on the right side, which meant the view was completely opposite. Of course, I bought the train ticket to sit and view the view! The view was beautiful, both the lagoon and the bay. It's a pity that they put the electric poles on the view side, so the view you see is blocked by the electric wires, which made it a little less beautiful.

Booked Hue - Da Nang ticket with departure date 7:30 am, but when I received the ticket, it was changed to 6:30 am without any notification. I was afraid of a mistake so I arrived before 6 am. If I had left at 7:30, I would have lost the ticket.

The train departs on time and is clean, with lots of delicious food for sale: tapioca flour, nam, Hue sausage, banh bao, corn milk, coffee... The staff on the train are also very enthusiastic in helping when they see you carrying heavy luggage. Highly recommend!

PLEASE DO NOT WRITE VICE VERSA on the booking.. instead write ONE WAY. This was very confusing as now we r stranded in Hue An and have to book a new ticket to return and endure another 3.5 hr trip back to Da Nang. But aside from the that the trip was quite interesting but 7 hrs is way too long for a day trip
