Worth getting if you want to travel around Kansai. We used it well to explore many places; was happy with it.

Do compare the rate on app vs the official JR West website. There are advantages to buying on the latter (such as online seat reservations), but we bought on app because of coupons making the price much cheaper. It's easy enough - use the code on the e-voucher at the ticket machines at KIX (with passport) to get your 5 day pass ticket. Use the machines to reserve seats or ask the staff for help.

The app staff answered my questions, although the wait time was a bit long. This voucher would be very worthwhile if you travel frequently and for extended periods within the Kansai region.

Very seamless experience, just change the ticket at the Kansai Airport train station and good to go, just need to keep it safe for the days you are using.

Redeeming it at Kansai Airport was easy. All we have to do is go to the JR Ticket office. There's two lines, one for Japanese speakers and one for non-Japanese speakers. To use the pass, simply insert it into the auto gate (it is the size of a normal Japanese train ticket)

If you buy this pass, I recommend using it to visit Kinosaki Onsen and Amanohashidate, a very beautiful and memorable trip.
