great central location clean and comfortable

Room wasn’t ready at 3, I had to wait around 20 minutes. Room was small but clean, comfortable bed. Location was perfect for British Museum/Euston

It was a great place to stay, for its location, services, and wonderful breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Can’t think of anything detrimental to say. Excellent hotel

I was given no information on the hotel amenities, other than "you need to use your key card to enter the hotel after 19.00 and do you want to upgrade to include breakfast". More importantly though, the room walls were paper thin, so I had a very bad night sleep.

No air conditioning in room, radiator had been on all day so unbearably warm, room was very small and in ground floor next to busy street so very noisy and couldn’t open curtains due to location. Definitely not as advertised or value for money

Clean, warm and well located

Reception staff were terrible, tried to overcharge me £84 for an upgrade booking I had already confirmed online for £22 then told me the room was no longer available when I refused to pay the extra and downgraded me to a standard room. The room was dark, window overlooked kitchen ventilation ducts with little natural light, was hot and stuffy. The bed and pillows were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever experienced, and the floorboards in the room above were extremely squeaky leading to 2 sleepless nights. The shower was luke warm both mornings even in max temp setting and the cleaners don’t leave any spare toilet roll in the room. The corridors were grubby, poorly maintained and overall the building was very unwelcoming. I did not eat or use any other facilities as I had such low expectations I didn’t want to be further disappointed

Location is perfect for sightseeing and shows. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Staff were great, room ok, bathroom ok, one big bare was that all the plug sockets in our room were underneath the TV (which was very new and modern and a large size) and nowhere near the bed or mirror, location is great, property could do with finishing touches but it had clearly been painted recently, beds were comfortable, no air con and we didn’t have the breakfast so can’t comment on that.

Excellent all throughout our stay!

Amazing clean, well maintained property. So convenient and close to many restaurants, stores, cafes and public transportation. Our family room was spacious. Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful whenever needed. This was our second year staying at Thistle and would definitely recommend to family and friends! Yin & Idris were the best!

Room was small but is good for a base,was a bit noisey outside at night because of the 2 pubs outside the window but that didnt last past midnight. there was no aircon in the room but it wasnt really warm, bed was comfy. Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection, there could have been a bar to go into for a drink but nothing not even a restaurant for a meal.

It was always a pleasure to stay at Thistle. We asked for a room with a bit of space.

Nice hotel, in a well situated area to access all the Amenities. Very loud at night with a Pub outside and the windows not being sound proof.

Location is good, but the room is small and not very clean.

The room was clean. The bed slid around when you sat on it, so we ended up blocking the rollers, helped a bit. We didn't have breakfast. There is no air-conditioning. They did have a heated towel rack. Only 1 plug and half of it was used by the TV.
