Great size room, comfortable seating area. Great location. There is some street noise as you’re on a main road, but it’s a quick trip to and from the airport using the train, and there’s an entrance across the road from the hotel. Palace is up the road and shops and restaurants surrounding.

Front desk and breakfast staff all very friendly and very helpful. Room was spotless. Great place to stay. Very close to many restaurants and the train station. Taxi right at the front door.

Small, family run, upscale/updated(not dilapidated), near train station, bar/restaurant/cafe, easy walk to Brygge, …STAFF absolutely delightful and accommodating. Exactly what we look for in a new city!!!

Lovely hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, great location for transit, nice view, very efficient room layout, comfy bed, and nice to have a/c for the warm nights.

If you have forgotten what great service in a traditional hotel is like come to the Hotel Continental. Everyone from the front desk to the dining room could not be more kind and helpful. When I mentioned that we were going to the floating sauna on the Oslo fjord, Anna at the front desk offered to have towels and water ready when we left. So thoughtful and made a big difference at the sauna. She also offered a room upgrade without my asking. Similarly the hostess in the breakfast room could not have been more pleasant and helpful. BTW the breakfast was among the best I’ve had in any first class hotel anywhere. All in all it was a great stay that significantly added to our stay in Oslo.

From the time we walked in and left 2 days later our experience was fantastic. The staff were always so polite and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.
