Staff were very helpful. Location was excellent. Room was very basic no kettle or tea coffee, small shower room. Would stay again.

The hotel is very well located and the staff is friendly and helpful. They should indicate that the closest parking is at Place de Verdun, so you can go there directly instead of getting lost in the small streets and fighting with signage that doesn’t match your GPS. The rooms are very small and the bathroom tiny. You’d expect more from Ibis for the price…

Perfect location for the historic centre, only a 5 minute level walk to the old streets, shops. Another 5 min walk to the harbour side.

A very good position in the town centre, easy access to the harbour area bars and restaurants. Great for a stopover or longer.

Beautiful clean and quiet hotel in the centre of town. Short walk no matter where you want to go. This is as convenient as it gets.

Very convenient location being close to Place sur Verdun and buses as we left car at airport.

Good location for visiting the town on foot and for getting buses both into town and to Ile de Ré, airport, etc - the main bus transport hub, Place de Verdun, is 2 mins walk away. Room was clean, hotel was quiet (my room was at the back overlooking a courtyard, but the street at the front is quiet too, not much traffic as it's a side street, not a main road), staff were efficient. I was travelling solo and had a standard double room - fine for one person but would have been a bit of a squeeze for two. Bathroom was very small. No minibar or coffee/tea making facility but they do 24 hour room service on a reasonably priced basic food and drink menu.

Hotel is in the city centre. Rooms are very small and there is no kettle to make cup of tea.

Great place to stay on a budget, really good value for money and extremely well located. Staff very friendly and efficient, definitely will use again next time in La Rochelle.

Pleasant staff ,clean room , central location. Lots of cafes and bars nearby.

A lads trip to watch some rugby and explore the city and area. Very hectic but pleasant

Went to La Rochelle to watch a rugby match (we lost!). Hotel basic, but clean and friendly. Room small, but had everything we wanted except no way to make a light night drink. Breakfast extra, but worth it. Parking about 150m away in underground parking, cheap and secure. La Rochelle is charming, and the people very friendly. There was a Christmas market in the nearby square, which was interesting, and really shows how much of a "Rugby town" it is - all the stalls were flying the colours of the local Rugby team, and there were beers featuring players of the team on the labels. The local museum is virtually opposite. Although our room was right over the hotel entrance, it was really quiet at night.

Too bad air conditioning was shut off for the season! Was much too hot in room.

The hotel is very well located close to the. Bus station and markets. It's a short walk from the harbour and restaurants. The rooms are clean but very small. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment on it.

Close to all amenities and easy walking distance from all the sites. This has been the third time we have stayed here and yes, I would go stay again.
