Nice beach side resort, friendly and helpful staff.

The property is off a busy expressway. Once you're inside the property, it's not bad. There is parking but during busy times, the lot may get full quickly. It's a small hotel so don't expect anyone to come out to help you. The day time staff is much better than the evening. The evening guy was meh.. not much personality and didn't do much other than check you and that's it. We asked how to get to the other side where the beach is. He had no clue. The day time staff was much better equip to answer questions and help with general questions. The room was not bad. Shower was good, strong pressure. The sofa bed was decent along with the 2 beds. Breakfast was included and was decent. The place is convenient to drive around to the beach and to the nearby shopping mall. We would probably not go back to this beach due to the fact it's on the opposite side of the beach and not a safe way to get across.

On arrival the prepaid cocktails were not available as waiter was not on duty, so ended up with a basic drink. No iron at all on the property. The hotel is out of the way but that is my fault I should have done more research on the area. The staff were all friendly and house keeping was always done when requested.

Our stay was all great. Only we were not given the room that we had booked.

The hotel is has great facilities, rooms and building in general are very clean and comfortable, small pool but the beach is just few blocks away so it's a great location. Their customer service is exceptional, every staff we encountered was friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Very charming lay out with a lot of greenery. Dining and breakfast areas and menu were compelling to stay in. A 5 minute walk to sandy beaches with the water much warmer than the Algarve, due to "the current" according to the locals. We will book again.

everybody was extremely helpful. All the time went out of their way to help us and give directions and always with a smile.

The suites are massive, the staff super friendly & accommodating, the pool area blending in to the ocean view. A great place to unwind

Gorgeous breakfast area with a lot of food options. Location feels private, but it's convenient to any place in Lisbon. Wonderful experience!

Everything nice

Everyone was so friendly, and a joy to be around. All the staff was amazing. I loved that a member of your staff got our rental car. Everyone at Solar was really amazing and incredible and made our journey in Portugal start and end on a fantastic note. I will recommend this hotel to everyone that I know here in Canada when they go to Portugal!

Nice hotel just outside Lisbon with train station close by to get into centre. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Massive room Not quite a 4 stars hotel. Poor standard Dated Check in starts at 16:00 . Extremely inconvenient

Lovely older mansion converted to hotel. Loads of character and charm. Spacious rooms. Staff were friendly, and buffet breakfast was great way to start the day.

The food was good. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable

On balance it was good stay, really welcoming and helpful reception staff. Lovely outside space. Very clean everywhere and big rooms. I think it could do with some modernising in places and some nicer bathroom products would make a difference.

This is a safe hotel in a picturesque neighbourhood. We really appreciated having breakfast on a terrace with a beautiful view of the ocean.

30 minutes from the Lisbon airport. Walkable public beaches. Fantastic service and the rooms where spacious with a terrace and a view.

A fantastic stay in a wonderful location with lots of outstanding restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Special mention to Helder and Jorge on reception who couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond helping us.
