Very nice property. Very clean, very helpful staff, large room, air-conditioning works well and late July in August. Have stayed here before, and will definitely stay here again.

Not excellent but good stay!

The Busby hotel is very Centrally located in Nice making it easy to site see all over within 10min or so. They have amenities for going to the beach if you don’t. The staff is nice.

This is a very well located hotel, the breakfast was €14, a good selection of meats, cheeses, pastries, cereals, fresh fruits and yoghurts and you could even make your own omlette! Would recommend the Hotel Busby as Nice is most definitely worth a visit!

We stayed at Hotel Busby for four nights and overall had a very good experience. The front desk staff were the highlight of our stay. They were consistently friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. They arranged transportation, made drinks at the lobby bar, gave excellent restaurant recommendations, made check-in easy, and always had beach towels ready. Their customer service was exceptional. The location is also excellent. It’s within walking distance of the train station and tram, making it easy to explore Nice, Monaco, and the surrounding area. Our room had four single beds, a refrigerator, and a lovely terrace. Housekeeping was inconsistent. Our room wasn’t serviced for the first two days, and later visits included fresh towels but limited cleaning. It wasn’t a major issue, but more consistent service would have been appreciated. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, including made-to-order omelets, pancakes, fresh fruit, pastries, coffee, meats, cheeses, yogurts, and cereals. The only downside was the breakfast room attendant, who made the atmosphere feel uncomfortable by closely monitoring guests. Although we had paid for four breakfasts and only two of us were eating, I was stopped for taking one croissant to my child upstairs. I understand the policy, but it felt unnecessarily strict, especially since other guests appeared to leave with pastries or coffee. Overall, I’d happily recommend Hotel Busby for its wonderful staff, excellent location.

A great hotel, well situated ( nr the tram station ascal Lorraine) so an easy , cheap @ 10 euros return & quick transfer from airport. The staff are all polite & helpful & work hard esp the maids. Big thanks to Faruque for listening & sorting our room out. The hotel has a nice outdoor small area which was pleasant to sit out listening to the birds sing. Rooms are very spacious & clean, best 3* we have stayed at in Nice, most are v v small. The large airy lounge was comfortable to read & rest in. We never used the bar( v v small) or had breakfast there- lots of patisseries near by. Air con was great, needed at 30 degrees most days. We are definatly returning & re booking with Hotel Busby next May 27’ . Many thanks.

I was rather disappointed with this hotel. My AC didn’t work properly. I was sweating in my room. The hotel doesn’t have any ice! There is no fridge in the room so not being able to get ice was very annoying. The room was super small. The window had no screen on it so you could not open the window for fresh air without bugs flying in. I had to have maintenance come and fix a ceiling tile that was out of place. That should have been caught when they cleaned the room.

The hotel was in a super location. It was a short walk from the train station, promenade and the old town.

Great spot during my stay in Nice as a young female soul traveler. Rooms are a bit outdated, and I wish the air conditioning worked better especially given that I was there during a historic heat wave. But other than that, the room absolutely did the job. It was very spacious and the entire property as a whole was very clean and safe as well.

This hotel is ideally situated 10min from the beach,less to the restaurants and a 20min walk from the train station. The staff gave excellent advice for all our concerns and quick to meet our needs. Example. Unlocking the safe when we put in the wrong numbers. We highly recommend staying there.

Lovely hotel conveniently situated for the local life and restaurants and beach but in a quiet street

Positive : Location is perfect. Staff was helpfull and friendly . Breakfast was ok. AC working very well Negative : Single rooms are too small comparing with the price . Water was leaking from the shower as they don’t have shower cabin . There is a kettle and teabags but there is no complimentary waters in the room. Also there is no minibar in the room .

great location & nice room

Lovely hotel and room, was on the main road though so quite loud throughout the night with traffic and people on the street. The fridge in the room was also quite loud - but worked well.
