This hotel was so perfect to explore Reykjavík from!

The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is that it was clean. Beyond that, it felt outdated compared with other hotels in the same area. What disappointed me most was learning that the restaurant has been closed for years. This was not disclosed in advance. There was also no bar, which was frustrating, especially when other nearby hotels clearly offered those amenities. As a result, this hotel felt like nothing more than a clean place to sleep. The overall atmosphere was very basic, dull, and somewhat abandoned. While the staff were cordial, their service felt minimal and impersonal. I did not feel welcomed or taken care of. I would not stay here again, particularly given that there are many better, more modern options nearby.

Room was next to supply room and noise started in, moving things around 6AM which seemed to be above me and on the wall next to the bed. Other than this, perfect spot that is walkable to all the downtown sights. Front desk was helpful explaining to find reliable parking. Even wrote hand notes for me to remember.

Such a friendly and accommodating staff! Absolutely wonderful to have this experience, especially given the urgency of having to book a hotel during an extremely inclement weather event

Nice hotel right in the center of town on the Square . Very convenient to all the local sites and restaurants

This hotel is centrally located so you can walk to all main attractions, restaurants and bars around the hotel are walking distance so you don’t need to rent a car. Ice cream shops and shopping stores are close by so great location to stay in Reykjavik. Breakfast is available in the hotel but restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner.

Staff very professional and property is clean and in perfect location with that being said Parking is off site in downtown so you may wanna look itno it before renting a car. Breakfast can use little diversity. Would love to come back to hotel borg.

Room was wonderful and hotel is in the perfect location in the city to get to everything easily.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff, lovely spa located in intimate setting. Heated bathroom floors were a great surprise. Breakfast buffet not a great value for Canadian exchange rate, but the Art Deco style was worth the cost of stay.

Was fantastic, had a minor hiccup with the first cleaning lady but overall lovely time. Everyone was very nice and helpful.
