best boutique hotel in Paris

Hotel is small and charming and on a fairly quiet street in a good location very walkable I thought I booked a double room for single use I got a small room below the sidewalk on the first floor a huge disappointment the web photos showed a totally different room a very nice one the hotel was full so nothing could be done I was moved into a different room the next day price $4-600 usd per nite the staff was pleasant but value was not what I expected but I still enjoyed my stay breakfast was extra but nice

Great location! Second time staying here! Staff is very accommodating

After making check out, I received an email saying that they were gonna charge me a lot of euros because I ruined a lamp, I agree with part of my mistake when I washed my socks I Put them dryed it with a towel and place it on top of the lamp to finish dry, they told me that the whole lamp was ruined. The lamp was Not function from the begging of our trip , and the other thing that I didn’t liked is that the fire alarm sounds every time someone is smoking, so in four days of our stay, we got two days of files Alarm

Hotel is old and beautiful, ye sit needs a few minor updates but the hotel has tons on character and charm, I’d stay here in a heart beat!

The hotel is very well located, walking distance from the Arc de triomphe. The staff were amazing, they were very willing to help in whatever we needed. I recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

A lovely chic hotel, providing really good accommodation. The bed was so comfortable and the facilities in general were good. Very friendly helpful staff. My wife and I used to live in Paris, this hotel certainly contributed to a wonderful extended stay and we can thoroughly recommend it as a comfortable escape from the bustle of the Champs Élysées.

We loved the hotel. It was very well located , clean , comfortable and had strong AC which was great with the peak of the heat. Will happily return here for business again!

Great location 2 mins walk from the Champs elysees. Very cluttered but it is an Old World hotel so it fits. Staff were fabulous

We will be doing a FULL review of this establishment on our website's travel section: www the anglophile channel (dot) com after an incredibly disappointing stay. Shocked when we were presented with a breakfast bill of over three hundred euro after we were told it was included at check-in! THIS after we were forced into a larger room for three - for an additional forty Euro a night - after they did not honor our Hotels.com described room for the additional "rollaway available". At check-out they kept passing the blame for the startling breakfast charges on to their breakfast server - who was absolutely lovely - but also never told us of the sixty six per day charge (for three persons), NOR were we ever asked to sign for anything - over a five day stay. The pricing was never mentioned, it was not printed anywhere on a menu, table tent or any information we were given upon check-in. At any rate, a full review with photos will be posted on our website. We were regular customers of this hotel over fifteen years ago and we're sad to say we may have over-romanticized the memory of its better days.
