Gorgeous place with delightful old world charm.

Excellent location. Antonine and Valentine at the reception they both were very friendly and helpful with the issue we had due to the last minute train cancellation because the SNCF national social movement. They helped us and gave advice in best way to get to our destination. Highly recommended

The staff was very friendly. They orders me a taxi for the airport, held my luggage for the day and gave me an umbrella to keep dry in my day in Toulouse, all with a smile.

I had a wonderful stay at Le Grand Hôtel de l’Opéra. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a style that evokes a grand previous era, and the property is very well maintained, which adds to its charm and elegance. The staff were consistently helpful and welcoming, especially Antoine and the day staff, who made the experience even more pleasant. While the stay was overall excellent, I was less impressed with Carla’s communication, which could have been better.

The location is excellent, and Valentin at reception was wonderful. All employees were very nice and helpful. Sadly, all else was disappointing. The hotel does not have washcloths nor does it provide hair conditioner nor bar soap. The deep tub is dangerous for anyone with any difficulties and there are no grab bars to assist getting in or out (to use the shower). We tried to get a drink at the bar first night and although it was “open”, no one was there to serve. The second night we located an employee, who has many assignments, at the front desk talking with another employee. He politely went right to the bar to help us get a drink that night. Breakfast is disappointing in terms of selection and quality. Finally, the hotel is very outdated-not charming and old world, just old and rather ugly. The hotel is in dire need of a major redecoration project.

The property is really a boutique hotel, lacking thinks like a pool or hot tub, but for what it is, in a great location right beside an huge central square in Toulouse with easy access to the metro. The place is amazingly quiet, and room was gigantic for a couple.

It was fine. Nothing much to say. Think you should be able to just submit the star rating without having to fill in details.

This is an iconic old hotel. Interior decour is exquisite, Main complaint: A/C really does not work.

The staff could not have been more helpful. The rooms are very large and the hotel has an old world charm. Ask to be escorted to dinner for a true French feel

The room was clean and well stocked. Could have used face cloths but those are not always common in Europe based hotels.

A superb location access to almost everything in less than 10/15 minutes. Restaurants just 5 minutes with and excellent choices

Excellent hotel, ideal for the Opera next door. The Jardins d'Opera restaurant next door is also excellent.

Staff were lovely, hotel is opulent and quirky, beds comfy, we had a great, quiet room (268) but the bathroom door needs some adjustment
