We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Overall, the property is very well maintained — the reception area was always spotless and had a fresh, welcoming scent, which made a great first impression every time we walked in. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. We especially appreciated their positive attitude and willingness to assist with any questions or requests. One small suggestion: it would be great to allow receptionists to be seated during their shifts, as they work long hours and truly deserve that level of comfort. Breakfast was enjoyable and offered a good variety each morning, including two types of eggs, sausages, bacon, pastries, and fresh fruits. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary sparkling wine available at breakfast — a very nice touch! Additionally, the hotel offers local tours, which is a convenient option for guests looking to explore the area. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

The room was clean but hotel is older and generally looks better in pictures. Staff was nice, breakfast is okay. Air condition in the room works fine but it is too loud so you can not sleep while its on.

Disgusting shower area, noisy A/C, irrelevant time for breakfast 6:30-9:30am for a city which wakes up after 10am.

Very high standard for a 3 star hotel, feels like 4. Great service, reception staff speak English, breakfast, gym, rooftop pool, renovated facilities. Recommended!

We were very happy to find this hotel with Rio being such a busy place for the New Year's celebrations. We were welcomed to the hotel by an English speaking concierge, which was a BIG BONUS! Then, we were able to check in early which was another plus. Both rooms were clean and adequate. Plenty of hot water and the a/c was very cold. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely re-book on our return trip to beautiful Rio.

Clean, convenient and professional

The staff were friendly but the hotel itself is incredibly dated. The AC was disturbingly loud, the mattress was springy, bathroom poorly ventilated and the hotel lacked comfort and style. However the location was good in terms of easy access to the beach and restaurants in the nearby area

The staff were great. Unfortunately my first room had no Wi-Fi so the manager was kind enough to move me to a different room the second day. He upgraded me because of the inconvenience. Unfortunately it was the same problem. It seemed like the entire building was struggling with the Wi-Fi. The beds were rockhard. I would suggest to the cleaning staff to clean under the beds. But overall, I was happy. If the Wi-Fi would’ve worked, I would’ve called it. Excellent value for the money. If you stay here, you have to go get the filet mignon from the restaurant. If you ask for it medium rare, they make it perfect. I spent almost 2 months in Brazil and that steak both times I got it was in the top five steaks I’ve had ever in my life.

Our only issues were that the second floor was subject to street noise and that the room keys were not working properly. We loved the breakfast and the view from the rooftop

Every time I come t Rio I stay at this hotel, Not only it is conveniently located (3 blocks from Copacabana beach and a metro (subway) station right across from it), the eatery options are almost endless. Staff is great and of course the free breakfast is good. Room rates at great value allows you too keep more of your money to spend shopping.

The hotel is in a poor condition, small and aged, nore like a motel. Location is great!
